The optical trackpad has been reviewed.

Android 2.0 is soooo sexyy. Too bad everyone is rabid about telco lock-in nowadays.

Already out few weeks ago. It is RM1985. E72 has 3D camera, touch screen + qwerty keyboard and the ability to install Linux on it.

AP and Original price difference are quite minute nowadays. It doesn't really make sense to buy APs.

Well I feel my E72 beats my N70 and SE k610i hands down. =) I think there's one giant speck of dust stuck under my navi key though. I don't know how it got in there, quite annoying.

Optical trackpad is not terribly useful IMO. It depends on preference. I'd rather not use it. I've turned it off. The trackpad is a minor issue. I don't see why everybody is harping on the trackpad.

LOL, now there's some problem with the speaker maybe, people sound like chipmunks now unless I use the headset. Hmm. Real big lemon here.

Added on November 10, 2009, 11:20 pmOkay, I did a soft reset and everything seems to be back to normal. Space bar works and no more chipmunk sounds. Probably "early" firmware problem. Scary. I hope nokia is reading.

Opera Mobile 10 beta is awesome on my E72. Google's mobile app for Gmail can't be used on the E72 for some reason. You can't download it from gmail.com/app

To Tsting: your question can be solved by a simple google search. E71 and E72's screen has the exact same dimension.

To all owners of the new E72: does your navipad make a loud "clicking" sound when you press "left"? Mine does. Clicking on the other positions - top, bottom and left produces a faint and muffled clicking sound but pressing "left" makes a loud clicking sound. Very annoying.

The program is called Chat and it comes with the phone with a small update once you run it. If that doesn't float your boat there's Slick, Fring, etc. So far, I like Chat.

Mine is at medium and there's no kinetic scrolling whatsoever.
