 A word from Legend ss2

This is what happens.I went to legend ss2 last week to ask for panasonic plasma x10 and s10 price. a salesperson called lian quoted me rm3200 for x10 without freebies and rm3500 for s10 without the bdplayer. i say i want the s10,paid them a deposit of rm200 and they say they will send me the stock within 2 working days.

After 2 days still nobody calls me to arrange a delivery, so I called them, they say they forgot about my order, so fine, i say nevermind i wait another 2 more days....

After 2 days they called me and say there are good shortage for S10, ask me to take x10 instead which they have stock in hand. i insist I wanted the S10, so fine they say they will order but it will take time.

One day later, someone from legend (a woman) called my mobile and say they will deliver the goods to me tomorrow at 2pm. i say i am at work not available at home to sign and collect, only my maid is there. I ask to reschedule but the woman raised her voice says there aren't any other time! They are fully packed for the month!! Either 2pm or wait till next month! I have no choice but to ask my maid to accept delivery and pay them a cheque of the remaining amount. Is this how they treat their customer who paid deposit already?

When I reach home from work on friday, I was shocked to find that they shipped me a x10 instead of s10. The box was resealed and in bad condition. i learn from this forum to check the display time, it was used for 88 hours and turn on and off for 56 time.It was over 10pm that day so I didn't managed to call them that same nite. I call lian next day at 10am to complain about it, he told me in an annoying tone that x10 and s10 is the same la, he say i'm lucky that he charge me 3.5k for x10 with free digicam because the normal price is rm4k++!!!! I told him BS i saw the advertisement and it was only 3.6k he insist that was the old price.... lian say that he is bz serving other customer that he will have to call me back. he never did, i went to his shop because i was pissed and complained at them, but few staff which looks like gangster surrounded me and starring at me asking what is the problem here??? i was scared but told them i wanted to see lian and told them the story! lian came down after 30 minutes from upstair, i say i want a refund, he said he will only take the unit back now for 2k because it is considered 2nd hand. i was forced to keep my plasma in the end.

guys, stay away from LEGEND ss2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In regards to the above matter, I am a representative from legend ss2. We from Legend ss2 has been open for over 20 years, and we are confident and have a certain name of our own. after thoroughly going through our system, we manage to check that only 2 of the s10 model has been sold by our company as of 10 jun 2009, as this is a new model. It is also a company policy for us to deliver our goods to customer directly.By saying this, we only deliver goods to the customer him/herself, this is for safety purposes. furthermore, delivering goods to a maid is impossible. We are also afraid if anything goes missing while we are over, we would get the blame for it.

Once an order is done, our logistic departement will automatically arrange for a delivery, and our logistic department doesn't have a women employee, as mention by the above post. and as for a worker name lian, the only person that comes close to this name is an employee by the name of liang, is this him? Even if this is him, as according to our records, liang did not sold any s10 models until 10 jun 2009.

as according to the post above, payment was made via cheque. if the goods was delivered in a bad condition/different modal, stopping the cheque would be the obvious thing to do. if all this is true, why not stop the cheque? If an order was made, there would deffinately be an invoice from us. with prove of this invoice, my manager has agreed to compensate RM5000. Please bring this invoice to our shop, and if all this is false, please delete this tread so that the name of our company wont be affected.

We are confident that all this is UNTRUE, and please do not make false accusation on our company. If u really do have the invoice, please come forward with it and prove yourself. Don't give our company a bad name by making false treads here.

Please call our company at 012-3893063, if u really do have the invoice, we will make the conpensation.

Just to note, we have waited the whole day today for him to show up or at least a call to clarify this with us, but as expected there is none. we will continue to wait to see the result. If wat user BANLEGENDSS2 said is true, all he have to do know is just show the invoice or official receipt in this tread, and we will transfer RM5,000 directly into his account. In our opinion it is pretty simple to post it here if its true. We will continue to wait for another 2 days. We suspect that this could be done by our competitors to give our company a bad name. Recently our sales for LCD and Plasma is high and because of this, we suspect that this could be the reason why we are being sabotage via this forum. We are not trying to be cocky, all we are trying to do is to clarify this so that our company's name is not affected in any way whatsoever. We urge user BANLEGENDSS2 to head down to consumer rights department to complain this if it is really true. PLEASE DO, and not just give us a bad name through this forum.

After all is said and done, we are planing to take legal action against BANLEGENDSS2 for what he is trying to do to our name. Anyone who knows how to get hold of BANLEGENDSS2, please contact ALAN = 0123893063. There will be reward, of RM500 for this. We would like to know where to send the legal letter to when all this is proven false.

We would like to understand why the previous post was closed. we feel that it is unfair for us and we did not have a last word on it. over the past few days, we understand better on the about our negativity. we are really trying our best to improve ourself. we would like to give a word of thanks to all our valued customer for all his/her comment. We really learned alot about our own company in the past few days and apologizes for all our mishaps. we will once again try our best to learn from our mistake and better ourself for the future.

back to the case, i'm here again to urge banlegendss2 to show up with and receive his conpensation of RM5000 with prove of invoice/official receipt if it is true. once again i would like to mention that this could be done by one of our competitors. A conpensation of RM 5000 is no small amount.

Finally i'm Alan managing director on behalf of Legend, once again would like to thank our valuable customer for his/her comment so that we can work on improving the quality of our business. To be just to us, we would like to get hold of BANLEGENDSS2, a reward of RM1000 will be awarded, with prove of it.We would appreciate any form of information towards this. Only RM500? Nowdays, cannot do anything with RM500. Why don't you offer RM50,000? I am sure many peoplke would take up your offer.

My name is ALan, managing director. On behalf of legend electric centre, i feel its my duty to once again would like to apologize for any poor service throughout the years. To everyone who are dissatisfied on this forum, i too apologize.

Back to the main topic, user BANLEGENDSS2 to date has not clarify anything with us. This is indeed the work of 1 of our competitors. On our end, we would like to offer RM2000 to whoever who have any information regarding this. I have learned alot from this, I promise to offer the best service i can to any future customer. yeah if it's only from BANLEGEND i would have believe tat it was fake but there are so many complaints about Legend..seriously i don't dare to even step into this kinda shops after learning so much about their rep. sweat.gif

Their turnover probably runs into the millions. Offering RM500 reward is too little. RM50,000 is more reasonable.

I am not super high class. Nowadays, you go to family Chinese dinner, one dinner alone is RM500.

RM500 is a lot of money to you?

The reward should be commensurate to the task. It's not related to the turnover of the company. Anyway, if you think 50k is reasonable then you're entitled to your opinion.

So RM500 is worth at least a family dinner (with quite good food I imagine). RM500 will also get u a very nice dinner for two. That, to me anyway, is not considered as "cannot do anything".

RM500 is a reasonable amount of money to me. I won't simply be spending RM500 here and there for no good reason.

Instead of the RM 500 reward for being a RAT.. why dont Legend 'reward' people who write in this forum to compliment your service etc .. dont have to be RM 500... RM 50 per compliment also enough one .. sure LOTS of compliments will come out .. true or not thats another story la...OK Kow Thim..

It seems like many ppl and potential customer r going to boycott this shop. Enough said of the rewards,how r u guys going to cope with this? Kesian kesian. 1,2,3 or more ppl complained,no problem,but almost everyone r complaining it. Kerana setitik nila,rosak susu sebelanga(my spelling correct?)....its not just a setitik anymore...... Gd luck(taken)

been there with my friend , which is are a regular, thier service there really not efficient, try to sell display set items as new even my friend requested to replace it serveral times, still they give out display set, as the item is obviously scratch and mark with finger prints, lol, dont dare to trust such shop , IMHO...

Another attitude problem of sales people is, they expect customer come in and enquire the first time must buy immediately. When the customer tell them thanks for the info, I'll think about it. The sale person will give a rude face and don't even say good bye or thank you for coming. This is a real attitude problem with Malaysia sales person.

They think that customer are so free come in to their shop and waste the sales person time in enquiring. What a dumb axx. I always never buy from the shop with such an attitude.

i suspect the thread starter for the previous thread is lying as he has not shown up here at all to respond.

however, i must add that i too was a regular customer at legend, until their service went down the drain.

when taking delivery from legend, always expect them to show up at 10pm at night, no matter what time they promise you. once they didn't even show up on that day, but instead came on the next day.

like someone else once complained about, once my tenant had to take half day's leave to accept delivery of their home theatre system as they did not show up on time the day before.

also, when their lorry driver doesn't show, don't bother calling the sales rep as you will get shouted at and told off, and after that they will just ignore your calls. i even spoke to the manager at the ss2 shop when my things didn't come after more than 4 hours but he wasn't of much help.

another time, when i bought an lcd tv, and requested for it to be delivered at 7pm as it was a working day, they showed up at 3pm and insisted they deliver it, so i had to escape from work to accept it.

the final straw came when my fridge didn't turn up at my house on time on the day i was moving into my new condo. i waited until 5pm (after which time the guards will not allow any deliveries) and went straight to ss2 to demand a refund of my deposit. in all fairness to them, they refunded on the spot without much talking.

alan, when you say you are the managing director of legend, i assume you are the boss who drives the s-class? your staff have been rude to me right in front of you before, and you just ignore it as if nothing is happening. if you are really sincere in improving your customer service perhaps you should do something about your sales people.

just a final bad experience with legend ss2, there was once i ordered some air-conditioners from them, and they delivered it to my place. i was not in so my father accepted delivery. when the people came to install the air-conditioners, they realised that the compressor for 1 unit does not match the air-cond. i called legend and was told by the sales rep that the item is the right item. after shouting at him, he finally told me to put the compressor into my car and drive it back to ss2 to be replaced. finally after shouting for 20 minutes on the phone, they agreed to send me the correct one.

Everybody has learn and understand what is the real happening in Legend SS2. As for me this is clearly indicated that this kind of shop should avoided and I aware that there's also a few shop which has a similar problem.

As for M.D of Legend, do you realized that people give you a bad rating, AND at the same time promoting your shop.!! So the best thing to do is to stop attacking the customer and counter back by improve your service, change the attitude, manner of your sale person with a professional service.

Thank for those who brought this matter and at least make every shop aware and realized that every customer has right and always right...

nowaday people dont really bother about price,since some diffences is materiality (minority compare with the amount)
customer rather paid more to enjoy the service.

customer pull demand,customer is king,customer always right.
humble communication is the right way
they not intend to look for the reward treatment,the damaged has been done,what they want is respect,we say humanity.

Legend is well known for using dirty tactics. Almost everyone knew that. They displayed prices that they cannot sell. And then they start talking crap with you.

Hopefully we can demonstrate power of the Internet to spread testimonies of a shop (good or bad). Just like before the last general election the government didn't think much about blogs and the online world. After that they realize the influence it had or is starting to have (especially among the younger generation).

Active users here may be a small community now, but each user can spread the word at home, to friends and relatives, etc...

He! He! After long absent... I see this thread. Seriously... not just Legend la... I believe many others are doing this as well especially smaller ones.

For LCDs/Plasmas... I think ESH in SS2 is good.

But at the end, I still think I better buy from htkaki.

I'm sorry to bumping this very old thread. but recently my purchase which is the 1st purchase with them is very unpleasant..

bought an aircond with them 2 weeks back.. but until now still can't use the aircond..let's see and i will definitely update here..

installer said aircond faulty..

I m actually okay with that.. just cannot tahan their after sales service..

Nt sure if I should share here too, my air cond unit was delayed for abt a month too besides the new 5blades KDK fan that start makin noise within a month...

A few electronic outlet hv this problem,maybe they sell rejected or maybe recycled items.I had experiences with HSL chain store, all 3 items bought from them turned faulty in a matter of months! Though they undertook to repair it was a nasty experience,the worst was Samsung 40 inch tv whch was RM7000 at that time, cannot on at times after one year,repair costs quoted RM1400,but I choosed not to just gave it to a friend to repair and use it!Now HSL has closed in many towns dy

Apparently no stock but when stock arrives, another colleague spare it to another customer so gotta wait for few more weeks.. To my surprise the stock kept on delaying from manufacturer (shop's sales man claimed) till almost 2mths then I settled with another brand of a/c shakehead.gif

I have no issue with Legend SS2. I only get electrical household appliance from them, including A/Cs and fans. Installation done by my own contractor. All go well. The Fan was having some issue, they help me report to the manufacture and technician came next day, but later found out is not product issue, more on installation issue.

I usually don't use their installer services. Just buy goods and use outsider services.

Well... Just to share my experience... not a bad one.

I bought my Samsung 3 years ago from them... no issue
And another LG fridge from them 2 years ago also okay. Except when the compressor kick in kind of noisy... not sure is normal.

Well... So far so good.

Like this is based on my experience.
So my dad bought a Samsung Smart TV (model: UA46ES7100) from ESH SS2.
He bought it at 4999 which is quite cheap for this model at that time and they promised to give us a free wireless keyboard, but didn't.
We don't really use the smart features, so we didn't asked for it. Don't whether is they didn't give or the installers (indian, not racist btw) of the tv keep it for its own use or resale)

Bad experience. Bought 2 A/C Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, 2 Deka Fans and a Hitachi Fridge. Fridge no problem, Paid all in full. A few days before delivery called me and say A/C no stock asked me change to Daikin. Need to top up a few hundred. If not need to wait for 1 month for stock. Insists NO. I wanted Mitsubaishi. Ended up in 1 week stock delivered. Kinda fishy there. Wonder if he sold too cheap to me and wanted to cover his mistakes. But after that week. Same model other shops selling for RM300 cheaper! PAIN. For the DEKA fans. Bought them 2 months before my place was ready to install. Piece of crap! Within a week. All got noise. Then remote cannot use. Called them about the remote prob. Very rudely was shouted at I don't care if u bought RM100K TV also remote no warranty. Go find your own remote elsewhere.
