anyway wah you got so many media players ar?

no specific reasons lah - just hooked on this thing and would like to try a few players before deciding what to keep - and recently just let go of some and keep the ones I like best.

So right now, what media player you have selected?

still retaining WDTV first gen., a very decent player and both its PQ and AQ is terrific (btw this player can still fetch >200 ah? I actually thought of letting it go at below that price tag...heng ah..have not committed yet ). Now using WDTV Live. Concurrently running HDX too, great build with internal HDD, 1 T already full but have no intention to load new ones as I find it too troublesome, occassionally connect to external to enjoy, although can use FTP to transfer file but way too slow. BTW, its audio is bitstream (raw output) for TrueHD and MasterAudio. But have not tried and seen if it can handle BDISO but no problem with DVDISO (just happened that I have got one so might try this during this long weekend). have let go of Playon and Xtreamer to friends at a very good price (judging by my market sense on wdtv you can tell how much I sold them for...). What I like about Xtreamer is its form factor. PlayOn is another good player with great funcionality - but somehow I prefer the PQ from Sigma chipset - can't explain either, just that it won't tire my eyes even after wathing 2 files consecutively.

You eyes tired or not is not because only watch 2 movies from sigma chipset or realtek chipset..... it is because whether you have enough rest earlier or the movie is boring or interesting.

This kind of comparison is totally zzzzz....

If i lie down at sofa and watch movie, i will sleep in minutes later no matter WDTV or Xtreamer or DVD player, and no matter how interesting or boring the movie.

should be able to,, but better wait for owners or reseller hdwarexpert to confirm..

Yes, it will work even though you don't install an internal HDD.

Why not? But you need to have at least a hard disk for it to work, either internal, external or fron network PC... or all of it together with eTRAYz.

Meaning you can access your media files all sorts of way.

Anyone of you have tried out the Movie Jukebox features that mentioned on Xtreamer forum?

How was it? Is it nice and easy to setup?

I'm thinking to do so but my Xtreamer not around.

Pls advise.

Easy to set up and XMJ does work. However it takes a long time to download the required info. It adds one or two .png files to the movie directory concerned. Info based on that available at imdb for English users.

I will try to setup mine once free....right now unit no with me.
