they used tnt to deliver, messed up a lot for the first batch of delivery. I think xtreamer has changed to other courier company

for wired connection, 720p working fine, lagged for 10801p.

for wireless connection, i din try as it has been highlighted by other users it lagged even for 720p mkv.

anyway, there will be a firmware update in the couple of weeks to improve both wired and wireless network performance.

Looks favorable review. Might get this instead of popcornhour C-200. If it can play smoothly those Blu-ray MPEG2 file (around 40Mbps video) then it's a winner. Anyway, does bitstreaming TrueHD and DTS-MA work? I'm going to get one if it can play 1080p smoothly. Those other gen NMT take around 1 min to boot up so this is quite a hugh different.

Looks interesting. I have one more extra HDMI input on my receiver, this could be the candidate. Never owned an NMT before, but the Youtube capability might interest my wife. biggrin.gif

Ape, any pics of this in action? The menu, Youtube, etc.

Not taukeh or sifu, but yes, I'm a fan of physical disc media, and still is. This Xtreamer looks good on the specs and functions, with quite a reasonable price and so far the performance I read is promising. I'm thinking, why not, maybe now is the right time, and maybe this is the right product. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the quick review, ape. Just ordered my unit this morning. Hopefully can get it before end of next week. They allowed me to include 2 x WiFi dongle for free. Let's see if they actually deliver 2 pcs.  rclxms.gif

Received email from Xtreamer regarding the 2nd Wifi dongle. Too good to be true. They want to charge me EUR20 for it. So I cancelled the 2nd dongle. They also indicated that my unit will ship only on 1/8/2009! Still trying to clarify as probably they have ran out of stock. Grrr! vmad.gif
