not everybody is suit to lachesis...if you read the razer mouse guide, they're several ways to use a mouse . grip , claw and palm. i think. so it depends on which user are you. i have a friend who bought the lachesis and sold it the next day in garage sales. haha. better think twice and go test 1 urself first before buying it.

as for me, my DA tends to get warm, I'm not pretty sure whether its because of the optical sensor or due to long usage,

It's because of the sensor.

For me it gets really annoying when I try sniping at high DPI (sometimes I have no time to drop to lower DPI), when giving small, slow input, the mouse reacts weirdly, no where near as precise as it was before the update.

Try making very slow, small, but accurate movements either in Windows or in-game, see if the response is ok with you. For me I got a jerky response, which I could not stand.

Will try it out in photoshop to check. Your high DPI is how high?

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Jun 23 2009, 05:16 PM)
1.07 for me on Destructor. 0 Jitter problems.
I'm at about 2800 DPi and it's still as responsive as ever, even with my Photoshop work.
God I love this mouse.

Razerzone says exactmat is the optimum surface for mamba. And the price is about 50% lower than destructor. (If i am not mistaken) Hmm.......wonder where can i try both of them out. hmm.gif

I game at 2000-3200DPI, depending on the game, and drop down to lower settings while sniping (I've never done this with any other mouse before, but the Mamba's DPI change buttons are so easy to use).

For use in Windows it depends on the monitor size. On my laptop, 17" 1920x1200 resolution, I use 2000DPI, and desktop, 24" 1920x1080 I use 2800DPI.

I've tried the Mamba on the Destructor, and both sides of the eXactMat (albeit a worn out one). It definitely feels better on the Destructor.

And the price difference between the Destructor and eXactMat is not that big, ~RM135 compared to ~RM95.

Wah! You keep changing your DPI, you can adopt to all of them at one time?

RM 135 and RM 95 is about 50% different.
My concern is which one can 100% solve my jittering problem. If exactmat can't, definately i will go for destructor. If both can, then ofcourse the cheaper one tongue.gif

Yeah for me it's fine. Like for every game I find my favourite DPI level (one that I'm most comfortable with), and set it into the Mamba profile driver so that everytime I start that particular game, I'll get that DPI.

Obviously you play different games differently, and the speed/response you want changes between games. So I find one DPI setting for each game. No adapting required.

Haha depends on which price you use as your baseline la. The Destructor is 50% more expensive than the eXactMat. But the eXactMat is only 30% cheaper than the Destructor.

And I'm pretty sure both pads can solve the jittering problem for you, but do try out how good the mouse feels on each pad. You'll be surprised by how much nicer it feels on the Destructor. Not just the Mamba, but any mouse in fact.

You are a very dynamic player i would say. rclxms.gif

Lolz, you are right about the 50% and 30% thing. Actually 30% is also a big spread. (Eventhough in term of value is only RM 40 tongue.gif )

Yeah, i would love to try both them out. But where? I believe it will be hard to find. Hopefuly ban leong do display them all during the upcoming PC fair.
