i think if u read my review, or even anyone who has the megalodon...they will only agree 50% with u.
in 7.1, sound may be the same...but remember barracuda is only 5.1.
and in 2.0 mode the megalodon will destroy the barracuda in terms of playing music.

And comfy! Don't forget that!

Great comfort + great sound = Kickass headset. Regardless whether it's a gaming or audiophile. My 2 cents...

i used to hav a barracuda... its horrible.. after using about 1-2 hours my ears hurt with or without spec... and the mic tend to loosen up after a while... therefore my mates over vent cant hear me clearly

i personally dont think barracuda is nearly same as megalodon coz megalodon is far more better.. when using barracuda hor... when there is no sound / music.. theres a slight hiss noise... while megalodon dont hav this problem.. but then i dunno probably my soundcard sucks while using barracuda.. where else megalodon has built in 1... i m not pro in audio thingy.. but i feel megalodon is far more clear n crisp... no matter in stereo mode or 7.1 ^^ really worth getting it

btw i wish to ask mamba owners... do u guys feel that the mouse sometimes.. not very responsive.. as in it will "stoned" for split second sometimes >.< .. i already update it with latest firmware tho

So there are some users who can't wear their barracuda for long hours
For me it's near my ears. Feel headache and wants to vomit if I don't wear a hat
If I wear a hat, I feel the pressure not so much and can play for longer hours
@Everdying,: Yeah. 2.0 megalodon pawns. The audio for listening music on my barracuda is not that nice. Prefer my moray
So after 12 hours with my mamba. Played few rounds of cod and cs

hey hi, i just got my megalodon and mamba yesterday from pc fair.. the mamba is nice but only one problem with headset which is when there is the sound on" like watch youtube or listening music online" , there is a static sound. so anoying. anyone know how sovle this matter? thk u

The megalodon doesn't need any driver, the APU does all the audio processing; so it takes the load off ur cpu

My speaker levels are all set to default, i don't see any reason to tweak it yet.. Have u tried contacting Razer support online?

dam sad man... now listening to music and when i roll mouse up and down, there is a static sound... razer support is offline la..

Oh... I had that problem with my old P4 pc @ kuching, but not with megalodon. But it only happens when i scroll. The sound is there, but not so loud that it's irritating. Until now I dunno what caused the problem. Try plugging ur megalodon into another pc to verify whether it's ur megalodon or ur pc is the causing that problem.

OK now problem solve.. cause of my hardware problem with my MB driver, i think. coz i did reinstall MB driver then no more static sound..
Megalodon is not the problem. hehehe nice headset instead..^^

so far as i seen...they dont come with the stand....

they didnt display the stand at pc fair also..
i thought i could see everdying's artwork of glue-ing back the legs of the stand on

i saw it there on friday, was placed on top of the casing.

yaya...i saw it on saturday too...but maybe they dont put the headhead on it...so ppl may think that is something else...XD
at first i also dint notice about the stand...but then i recognise the magnetic on the stand...XD
