QUOTE(bwan @ Jan 31 2005, 10:34 PM) so many things kaboom eh? It's a part of learning proccess. Everybody experienced that. Ask arj. LOL. BTW, try to minimize the damage and be extra careful when setup everything. I have learnt that too. Have a clear mind before setup anything and don't get too excited. Not trying to teach you but just sharing my own experienced. Yup. I guess you're rite. I'm a over excited dude, never learn. Lotsa faulty stuffs in one whole wardrobe. LOL

QUOTE(irenic @ Jan 31 2005, 10:31 PM) hmm i guess i have to give up even without post any result... i only manage to get 35secs at what ever setting that i did.. and when i change the ram timing to 2.5-4-3-8 from 2.5-4-3-10 i got 36secs.. so i changed back to 2.5-4-3-10.. but i cant get back my previous 35secs I am not an expert on AMD rig but you can try for higher processor clock and forget about the RAM timing first. Try to find the highest speed for your processor and loosen the RAM timing first.

I have a suggestion here in ranking : Intel Pentium 4 (prescott, northwood) ranking AMD Athlon64 / Sempron 3100+ ranking Intel Celeron (C, D) ranking AMD AthlonXP / Sempron ranking. Each category has a top 5 ranking. From here we can compare the difference of different CPU as well as the same class one
