hey guys, just started oc-ing my phenom today, and wanted to ask something. whats the nominal or expected temps for the northbridge?
my spec is 9150e, managed to push it to 2520 (280*9) and both NB and HT multi's are 7x, so the values are both around 1960. My temperature however for the NB was around 89C. this scared me, so switched off to do some research, which has now led me here.
system information would be in my siggie.
did u remove d stock cooler, remove d protective foam (d squarish black/yellow sponge), and replace d stock paste w those of better grade like mx-2 or so? manufacturer like dfi is notorious w their stock components coolin.

Hi there oc sifu's
I posted here before about getting my DDR2 RAM to post at 1066 speed but failed.
Major reason due to crap oc mobo M4A78 Plus
I just bought a new Biostar TA790GX mobo which is far more better
But after some tweaking...I still failed to get my ram to post at 1066
I think its because the FSB:DRAM ratio set at 1:2 (I could not find the setting at the bios)
My Specs
720 Black Edition with stock cooling and speeds
Biostar TA790GX
Team Xtreem Dark 4GB 1066 DDR2 running at 800mhz
Silverstone ST560F
Any help would be greatly appreciated
ratio 1:2 is @ devider 800 lah mate... go set it properly in bios (last tab).
