u can't really compare am2 w/ am2+, it's harder for latter to achieve high htt if compared between d 2, especially agena/toliman/kuma, deneb however are easier but still am2 especially windsor f3 are d best in htt oc imo. nod.gif

hmm... what devider u use? have u tried to boot w/ stock setting? what are d trfc settings for all slots? sounds more of a setting issue to me instead of hardware/bios... hmm.gif

erm...i use the devider 1066 and 800(Stock)
i did clear the cmos,then on..still cant.
the pc just wont post..the mobo light blinking indicates that there is ram fault..and the screen stays black (no input signal)
and the tracer led not lit at all...means no ram activity...

trfc setting i donno...but y at stock setting still cant boot..hmmm
tried with kvr + 1pc tracer..still cant...

u need either special retention module like below to turn a lga775 heatsink into am2/am2+ or buy those heatsink w/ prpoer mountin in order to have east-west (blowin towards exhaust) orientation. i really hope someone can do a bulk order on this item, it'd be very useful for most amd users. nod.gif

550be are sweet chips to play w/ especially when ur lucky in gettin a quad cores primable one. w/ d unlocked multi lite/moderate oc should be a breeze... drool.gif

yup, d 6cm fan was zip tied to d 8-pins connector from psu. i inherited that fan from a bro whose his stock p4 cooler spoilt by me... laugh.gif
