either sb710/750 will do. both offer acc feature which is important especially when unlockin of core(s) is involved. judgin by ya taste, i think u would go for sb710 + 770 board bro. smile.gif

from what i heard (bro -pWs- mentioned b4) tx series is inferior to hx series due to circuitry thingy. actually any 80 plus rated (from well known manufacturers ofcoz) is gud enuf ledi, i'll go for d one with longest warranty period since we don't change psu so frequent, unlike chip/board. nod.gif

beta bios 04/02 should have no problem in unlockin core(s) if ya chip has healthy locked cores. do notice u need dos flasher for flashin beta bios, i dun wanna see another case of misleadin happen here becoz of me... sad.gif

1. what's d mobo ur usin?
2. what's d bios loaded?

these 2 will determine whether ya chip is unlockable or not, ofcoz provided that ya chip come w a healthy locked core. smile.gif

790gx 128m need 01/13/09 & below to have d capability to unlock core(s), u need to flash d bios usin dos based flasher (afudos). after flashin is done, clear cmos, load optimized (safe & exit) then set acc to auto. as simple as that... nod.gif
