even superb batch like EPMW (d best for me) got bad apple. I've seen one of them not bein able to unlock. unless u've proven d chip is unlockable on other boards, else u can't say that d chip is sure unlockable. smile.gif

i've mentioned this many times, even d best batch has bad apple(s) which can't be unlocked. those that i know are 0919, 0921 & 0922. nod.gif

there was a 0922 apmw in sls, nearly bought it yesterday but luckily managed to control d desire... i need to do more meditation i guess... i'm weak whenever it comes to pc hardwares... tongue.gif

use hwmonitor will do, ignore d per core temp, refer to d tmpinX (differ from mobo to mobo) will do. same w mine after i unlock d cache... laugh.gif

as mentioned, ignore d per core temps, there's a temp readin for cpu which is same in bios. cpu temp monitorin is important (eventhou sw readin is not that accurate) coz u'll know how far u can go w/ d volt. voltage itself won't push a chip too far, u must couple it w d rite temp. nod.gif

use awdflash will do. put d flasher + bios file together in d main directory of ya bootable thumb drive then set it as 1st boot device, it'll auto run. u just need to press enter when d bios file name appears. sit & wait, press f1 upon completion. > this is for dfi but i supposed it's d same w gaygay coz they're on award bios.

btw bro, ya dka 790gx plat has bios which can unlock locked core(s) now... sweat.gif
