QUOTE(jumajuma @ Jul 20 2010, 10:09 AM) it gonna be tight actually.. civic powerful engine VS m3 solid handling. but if compare with equipment level m3 win hand down.. so if u test drive u can see how beautiful is all the gadget in the cockpit and compare it with civic bare equipment + spaceship speedometer but remind u M3 dont have any DSC or TC M3 is very well built vs the Civic. But the recent 1.8-L Civic is good value for money lo. If they had lunched it earlier, I may have been swayed and saved 15k. Oh well, nvm wil be getting my missus car this weekend. Thinking of changing the tyres as I heard the Toyo Proxes is noisy. Any recommendations from M3 owners? Thanks

Getting Started

civic 2.0 is my 1st choice actually and booked it ritely after test drive, but due to a long waiting list i did test drive a lot of car.. civic.. altis.. camry.. persona elegance.. kia forte.. mazda3.. mazda6 and finally fall in love with m3 handling.
both car is good .. but at that time only toyota give a better interest rate than mazda3 and their altis only so-so .. so i choose mazda3.
maybe next year planning to upgrade my viva.. still undecide which car.. i'm waiting for the next gen waja, if not might going for something smaller like honda jazz or city. 100% town use only.
so i'm not a loyal supporter for mazda.. i only bought the most value car within my budget.

If you really carry people around your ride, then maybe rear space is that important to u. Forte is a good buy anyway, so u could not lose anything literally.
To me, i did not carry people at the back seat everyday, so i can not afford to miss the superb handling and steering feels that M3 deliberately provides. Its addictive I love to drive the car anywhere...

Ya..I reliased that no left foot rest. But hey, since the pads look nice, might as well change all of it. The stock rubber paddles looks abit out with the brilliant interior.
As for the colour, ahh...graphite mica. White looked lovely, but just too many around. Yours?

do we need to recalibrate the meters if we changed to 18 as the diameter will be larger and it also consumes more petrol right?

QUOTE(D-Zire @ Jul 26 2010, 10:13 AM) do we need to recalibrate the meters if we changed to 18 as the diameter will be larger and it also consumes more petrol right? I've been told by the SA no need recalibration of any sort, if u change the tyres. How true is that, I dont know. Guys u might want to keep those 17'' stock rims, just in case u gonna use it another day or need to keep it back to factory setting for some reason. If you're not, be prepared to pay RM2k / rim, which sums up to RM8K for stock rims, directly from japan....in the case if u would ever need it again lah. Added on July 27, 2010, 10:18 amM3 fuel filler cap = rm160 / pc. This post has been edited by furiezachs: Jul 27 2010, 10:18 AM
