QUOTE(marushin @ Jun 13 2009, 01:01 PM) millenia, thanks maru for helping me out here... i wanna use it as u know a "fairly" wide and walkabout lens... im not too worried about the aperture because i'm so used to the kitlens already... what i liked about the magnification is when u do like closeup shots and have the background in as well the subject still remains sharp...may i know what is the usage if u get the sigma 17-70?based on what u were saying here, sort of u want macro usage from the replacement. Am i correct? |

QUOTE(marushin @ Jun 13 2009, 01:31 PM) ok, i get u... haha... dah tepuk... dah tanya... yea id prolly go for the tammy laa.. then my recommendation 1-tammy 1750 2-CZ1680 3-SAL16105 4-Sigma 1770 why i put cz 2nd? because if u have budget constraint. If not-just go for cz.like shofreeze said-sigma have many issue especially on the gear stripping. SAL16105 the best choice if u dun mind about the sharpness, contrast. but still great walkabout lens. Yet, tammy 1750 is the best in price, sharpness, a good contrast for a 3rd party lens. but still, tepok dada tanya selera... |

wah... im half tipsy after a night full of party... had fun with my new tammy 17-50... albnok... i tried the 17-70 at YL just now and yeah... it is cool indeed... especially the really near MFD and its magnification ratio... i ended up buying the tammy 17-50 cos of the constant aperture and the fear of the 17-70's gear stripping issue... i'm rather satisfied with the 17-50, shall paly with it when i reach melaka tomorrow...

QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Jun 16 2009, 09:07 AM) what is the distance between the pagar and the crocs? You can actually just shoot across the pagar. oh yea spooks,i had to do that for lotsa shots... but this stupid croc pagar was some thick metal thing la... hehe... wait la... i get the G first... then go 2x lowering your DOF and if the DOF is shallow, the pagar will be bokeh-ed 1) the pagar is green in color, around 1 feet away from the bird: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 2) this is more than 3 feets away » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on June 16, 2009, 9:07 am 300mm tak sampai? time for x2 then hahaha.....else just crop your pic:) Added on June 16, 2009, 9:08 am G??? eh that eagle photo nice la wei...
