yeah Spike Witwicky controlled Fortress Maximus to save his brother buster. its one of the series of im not mistaken. It was also in the animated movie, used by daniel.

U mean the marvel transformers? If not mistaken, he Head on with Spike after fortress binary partner, Gallion (can't remember the spelling and original part of fortress) died in volcano errupting...

I remember he blast shockwave into pieces when try to save his brother or was it ratbat....

i remember now its the marvel TF, Galen Kord who was Fortress's binary partner and he gave the power over to Spike.yeah it was Fortress who blasted shockwave,but he didnt get to save buster at the first try only later on after optimus was ressurected.

Yeah those comic... damn those where the days.. i remember the UK Transformers storyline is more darker than US counterpart (especially bounty hunter Deadhead, 2005 Transwars Timeline, Wreckers and the drawings). Simon Furman sure know how to tell darker side....

haha nope just gotten my hands on IDW's War Within series. Will find that one and read it. I like the fact there are some elements in this movie that is taken from the marvel,idw franchise especially the Fallen, Jetfire and Grimlock along with the other bots struggled to banish him in War Within hehe.

I think it's dreawave production that went to bankrup before IDW broughts it. Plus should see the All Hail Megatron, much darker storyline (especially Starscream which surprise characterzation)... recommend to read...

The fallen is quite bulky in TF:WW compare to TF:ROTF..... huhuh

Well i mean an army of seekers clones which when Megatron depoly them when Spike gets to Optimus to revive since Seekers (akin to Clone Trooper SW) was main army of the deceptions (in G1, DW TF) instead protoforms aka keileifei...

Only once they intro in Bay TF is well Starscream, Jetfire and Thundercracker, Dreadwing [IDW TF:Reign of Starscream]

Yeap,they bought all rights of DWP,will check that novel out. The fallen was quite bulky and he had this freaky fire coming out from his head all the time not to mention manhandling Grimlock like a toy one and memorable moment would be this hehe.

Hmm in the ROTF,the seekers here could also be the cons at the desert,merely clones of the constructicons in bipedal form as they were made by starscream on board Nemesis. Starscream, Jetfire and Thundercracker, Dreadwing werent they called skyraiders in G1?

The only thing i dun like in t2 is why jetfire must move using a stick and have beard on it's face? in cartoon his is old but still very active.. but in this movie..........

err that is because he didnt age well due to lack of energon and he was in a stasis lock for many many years before the shard reactivated him,he did say without energon the transformers will rust and have a slow death more of age and die a painful and slow death. You must concentrate on how Jetfire's explain why he was the way he was la brader.

Just watch the movie last week, i would say the graphic handle is pretty amazing and improve a lot compare to transformer 1 and most probably is the best from all the film i have been watch. But somehow i still feel i am more enjoyable when watching transformer 1....

they made him look damn old... like some grandpa.

that is to go hand in hand with the notion that the elders aka jetfire were on earth for a very long time, looking for the matrix i believe and also to give emphasis to the fact that the TF's were here long before Megatron crash landed on earth. Well if you think of disposable robot there a lot of them in G1,armada and others that died without a proper introduction even Optimus dies in the 80ies movie does that make him disposable?

It show's some elders transformers with beard, & some transformers are kid size.

yes they have beard but those are like really childish ideas and they even cry.

Imagine transformers crying in the movie, what will you say?
