They got feelings because they surf the internet. as what OP said in first movie. they might already lurk 4chan /b/ or site which related.
*
They surf the net to learn about human culture and language. I tend to see many mistaken Transformers as a normal tincan robot which does not have inteligence or sort. Please think of them as Aliens which is in metal exoskeleton not tincan robots.

Well, box office earnings isn't really a good measure for how good a movie is. Box office is just a result of your marketing and hype. Coincidentally, TF2 is a good example. Despite all the bad reviews floating around, it's still doing well. Why? Marketing and hype. The marketing this time around is 10 times more than the first movie, almost to the point of overexposure.

I never would imagine seeing Optimus promoting KFC, much less seeing Bumblebee every time I pass by a Petronas biggrin.gif

Most good movies though, never earn enough. That's why there are such things as "sleeper hits", movies that don't have such a gargantuan marketing budget, but should be good enough to rake in good money.

Ahh, a little off topic now tongue.gif

BTW, I love this summary from a review. Another bash, but I just love its conclusion.

Isnt that the case with Terminator Salvation as well, i never saw terminators in shampoo or deodorant ads before? it tanked after a few days cause people didnt like it and didnt bother to watch reruns. Again my analogy still stands,if a product despite its marketing glitz is still bad it'll just tank, people will just not buy it. Marketing will only serve as a means to ingrain the product in our minds, but the outcome is not controlled by the marketing campaign its the likes of us who control the movie's direction by watching it and asking others like our friends to watch sort of like word of mouth marketing, can be a good or bad thing, if it trully sucked everyone will just go back and tell their driends and family it sucked and this process will go on and on until its just stop racking money for the movie.

I will not bother about movie critics. They always rate a boring movie as good and box office hit as bad.

Anyway, I will definitely bring my 3 year old son to watch it again maybe 2 or 3 weeks later. He just love it!! thumbup.gif

Let's agree to disagree yah? On an unrelated note, IMO Terminator Salvation became a victim of its own franchise. A lot of fans became disillusioned by T3 and, possibly, Terminator: Sarah Connor. Fans didn't even bother to watch because they already know it's going to suck. Frankly I haven't even watched it either. Because I know it's gonna disappoint.

Anyways, ROTF is still enjoyable. I loved the animation, I loved seeing Devastator combine and climb up the pyramid (I hate Devastator balls though) and Optimus vs Megs/StarS/BlackOut was great. I just wished the movie didn't make me ask questions like "Does Wheelie really have a ****?" or "Does Jetfire have a bad knee?"

fine by me bro. I really had huge problems with that movie due to the fact the proceedings of T2 never really been implemented in T4,especially when theres a huge nuke explosion and people can still walkabout with no radiation effect or the fact that the terminators are immune to hot liquid metal.

That forest scene for me was epic, kinda sad to see optimus getting backstabbed and die like that. Jetfire, did say his boosters are fried and had a hard time transforming especially the lack of energon and being in stasis lock for a very long time,i wish they could somehow bring him back since his spark is still okay. He represents the fate of tfs without energon, extinct that is.

haha,he didnt actually die just disintegrated into smaller part, one thing about this whole franchise the Transformers can come back to the living one way or the other thats the beauty of it all, like how energy never disappears it just transforms into something else. I would love too see him back and fight defensor hehe the autobot version of the constructicons.

Transformer 2 is a real fun movie to enjoy. But the end battle is clearly a recruitment advert for the US Marines..

The only thing I dun like about both TF movies is that almost all Decepticons are stainless steel color. Half the time I couldn't make out who was who. I wouldn't be able to pick Megatron out of a line up.

Hey, a lot of those Decepticons that crash landed in Jordan, didn't take any forms. That's why they are "stainless steel colour". At least that's my take.

If they really debut Devastator, sure hope they change the 'gorilla' style. Sure dont wanna see 2 gorillas fighting (defensor/devastator) lol..

oh oh and bring grimlock too hehe.man somehow rather i dunno if i sound selfish, i'd like to see transformers last more than a trilogy, i mean hey the only thing i can remember from my cartoon watching days are pretty much,Thundercats,Ultraman,Power Rangers, and every single time i look forward to the one and only transformers, i even fantasize how easily the decepticons could defeat the power ranger's megazords and gundam lol.

yeap except for a select few like mixmaster and other, they were just mere clones created in the Nemesis by Strascream just like those kelefei bots in the cartoon series and novels. Reminds me of the "Attack of the Clones". Plus there were not much vehicles near the pyramids to mimic and transform into, thanks to Dr Zahi Hawass limiting vehicle access in the pyramids in real life. It was the first time in 30 years that any filming was allowed there hehe apparently Zahi Hawass is a fan so go figure.
