Steam preorder gives you early access to the demo and an in-game weapon (baseball bat). However, if you preorder along with 3 other people the price for each copy is significantly cheaper than if you choose to buy a single copy at a time.

damn need to go home and check the steam site joh..... but my line very poor i afraid the game need to take ages to finish dl onli.

if you pre-order I'm sure they will allow us to pre-load before the release date... however I'm not sure how slow is your Internet though...

and HL:Deathcmatch ppl still play while HL2:Deathmatch is dead

but i guess we also wont know the answer yet... if L4D2 really improve a lot of thing and add in a lot of thing and the gameplay still nice ppl will still desert L4D. As for Zoey i think sure gonna have ppl mod her into L4D2

hey guys, forgive my ignorance, but i thought it was just some special baseball bat skin, not the baseball bat itself??

finally finished watching that vid, looks like the heros really are larger than life. trailer looks good, but i'll definitely be waiting for the demo and/or 50% off weekend. not enough time these days to even play the games i already own, even if this game was the second coming of FF7 i think i'd still wait before buying it
