For printing, there's a printing at CoIT. 20 sen per black n white though.

Thanks, but I think I'll do it at ITMS instead. Engineering student here. COIT is really far.

I am SO sorry, I just bought the book from a senior for half of the original price during lunch just now. If I had seen your reply earlier I would have bought from you.

Anyone?

I also need Fundamentals of Electric Circuits (4th Ed) - Charles K. Alexander (Mc Graw Hill) pretty badly as I'll be starting lab classes next week.

Thanks biggrin.gif

Rule-wise, pet aren't allowed. But I've seen a few people bringing their pets. From the rodent type to snakes.

Hehe I actually plan to rear small tortoises here in Ilmu but haven't bought them. Kinda worried I'll get caught. Do they conduct spot checks on the apartments?

you can ask the lab assistant in your lab. usually there'll be someone sitting behind in your lab

If I buy during my lab class itself will he have the stock?

Checked out ur blog and find that alot of sitiawan ppl at Uniten this batch tongue.gif. Why so man sitiawan kaki lang wan. During my time also alot. Sitiawan ppl like come to Uniten ah =.=. Im not from sitiawan btw but my mom is. can consider la xD since i like kong piang and koruu tongue.gif
*
Congratulations on graduating, I have 4 more years to go.

Thanks for dropping by my blog. Yes, there are many Sitiawan people here in UNITEN, most of them from my school even. I'm not sure whether Sitiawan people like to come here but in my case it's because MMU offered me my third choice and the government offered me my third choice to UNIMAS, Sarawak but UNITEN offered me my first choice. Hence UNITEN.

Kompiang is heaven! drool.gif Now you make me homesick.

One thing, the internet connection here in Ilmu is really bad. Super bad!

I'd like to ask the seniors here if you have Visual C++ 6.0. I have an assignment due August 14th so I need the program, but I don't know where to get it. The lecturer told my class that if there's 1 error in our program we'll automatically get 0. That's why I need the program.

Please help. Thanks in advance smile.gif

how come? it should be easy if u performed the labs urself all these times........

Previously I did the experiments with my lab partner. We always share doing them, so some I did, some she did.

I'm a first-year E&E student and my first semester is going to end very soon. I'll be taking the following subjects next semester:

Circuits Analysis II
Electronics Design Lab
Electronics Analysis & Design I
Digital Logic Design Lab
Digital Logic Design
Mechanics I: Statics
Moral Studies I

Seniors, is it advisable to just follow what's given in the guidebook or should I drop or add any subjects? And may I know which lecturers are recommended for each subject? I am new here and I seriously have no idea what to do now that I have to plan my timetable for the next semester.

Please help. Thank you in advance.

Thank you SO much for your reply. Now I know what to do, but I heard nobody's copied the lecturers' section codes?

I just finished my Electrical / Electronics Measurement Lab too, but will be having the lab test in 2-3 weeks' time ohmy.gif

measurement lab is the basic one..lab instructor will spoon feed you..e1 lab is tough!!..the projects are even tougher!!..we dont have test but have to create circuit for 3 engineerings problems!!..anyway good luck on ur lab test two..make sure u really good with ur oscilospoce and also the function generator!..=D
*
Even with the spoon-feeding I already find measurement lab really tough!
Wow, creating circuits sounds really hard.
Yeah I'll be going to to the lab to practise some experiments before the lab test. I bet there'll be tonnes of wires involved.

QUOTE(ysh_kobe @ Oct 1 2009, 07:07 PM)
wow, tat kinda early, i remember finishing mine 3 weeks b4 finals, and my instructor let us have a review lab b4 going for lab test 2 the following week. wat a waste of time......... good luck, for test 2, the oscilloscope is the vital......
*
My section is fast so our experiments ended faster than the other sections. We have to wait for the other sections to finish before we can proceed to the lab test. Lab tests are really stressful!
And I heard the finals are really tough. I'm not very prepared and I don't think I have enough time to prepare with the amount of assignments and projects I have now cry.gif

guys just from personal experience i wouldnt recommend Yaakob for CIRCUITS I..his english is not the BEST..he explains too quickly and just says "It's very easy",he sparingly gives out lecture notes (so it's hard sometimes to follow in class) and assignment can quite DIFFICULT..but again this my own personal experience..and i guess if u put in enough HARD WORK it wont matter who ur lecturer is..but good lecturer will make way EASIER for and considering CIRCUITS is a fundamental subject for EE & EP i'd recommend u find one that suits ur learning style, etc Dont really know much about other lecturers but from what i've experienced cannot be worse than Yaakob..Again I would like to reiterate this are my own personal views. I dont have anything against Yaakob..very smart man although he doesnt convey his knowledge properly to students. IMO.
*
I have to agree with you. I'm currently in his Circuits I class, and in my opinion I'd be better off studying on my own than attending his classes. Everything to him is easy so he always asks us to read on a certain topic on our own. I end up being really blur since he doesn't explain much, so now I'm doing my own revision. Hopefully I can do well in Circuits in the finals. And yes his English. I find it hard to grasp what he was trying to say sometimes.

Are u guyz serious C Programming is a Breeze and im doing CSEB114 and from what i've heard CSEB113 and the one IT students take is much more easier...less/no assignments and they actually learn less....But then AGAIN  thumbup.gif our lecturer is really AWESOME  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif Ms Masyura Faudzi notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif ..she explains thoroughly and always helps us out..she even gave us a 2nd MST remake test coz some in the class didnt so well...ALL C Prog is prob ma best subject atm..PM if u need any help HAHAHAHHAHA..jokes
*
Yes I'm in Miss Masyura's class and she's awesome! But my C-programming isn't as awesome as yours.
