Manchester United Open Talks With New Shirt Sponsor

The ambiguous financial future of current Manchester United sponsors AIG is causing the club to seek other options elsewhere in case the firm are, as speculated, forced to prematurely end their link with the Premier League champions.

As such, the Old Trafford outfit have been holding talks with insurance giants Aon over a shirt sponsorship deal that could fetch United an annual sum that exceeds £20 million, according to weekend newspaper the Sunday Mirror.

It has been reported that the new deal could be in place for pre-season, meaning Manchester United's kit next season would have the new sponsor dominating the front of their jerseys, and not AIG.

Aon have been in conversation with United ever since it was announced that the recession had hit AIG.

One 'insider' is reported to have told the weekend paper, "Talks have gone well and it's 90 per cent certain that Aon will be United's new shirt sponsor.

"Whether it happens next season or the year after is yet to be decided," the insider concluded.

i think AON looks better than AIG

i bought rm98 tickets for the Asia tour from Nike TS on the first day of the pre-sale... the staff there said they will call me when the training passes arrive...but up till now still no response.. anybody in the same situation?

don't think they so free to call. I bought from Nike 1U on the first day as well and told me will call before collect. Then I went the next week (Thurs) and just tried my luck asking. It seems it's already in envelope and kept for days but they didn't bother to call to ask me to collect

anyone can photochop the new kit and put the sponsor to see how it looks like..

is this next season home jersey??
