ahahahah.. damn it.. suppose to go today but cannot la plak! pics weh!!
anyway, seems like vermaelen is coming. its just like Nasri and Arshavin... just player talking a bit here and there... then boom! toure for micah? nah.. i can see Gallas + cash for Micah though. but... to me, if vermaelen comes, no need to unload anybody from defense. So, the question is... who'll go? adding to the squad means someone going out. my bet is on Adebayor or Gallas. Kaka already confirmed going to RM, so, maybe Ade will be on the way out. |

QUOTE(beandy @ Jun 9 2009, 11:18 AM) Villa? To quote the Mythbusters, "Possible, but impractical."Valencia's demise will likely see them selling off their stars, but I reckon they will probably head off to other La Liga teams. Maybe Rafa will further expand his Spanish Armada but I don't think any of them will come to the Grove. Anyway, I wish I could write like LD. http://www.arsenal.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=514757 QUOTE What most impresses me about Denilson is the simplicity of his game, his anticipation is second to none, every single time a ball breaks loose in midfield; take a look at the first Arsenal player to sweep up the scraps. Every time one of the full backs or wingers finds himself penned in and surrounded by bodies, take note of the first Arsenal player on the scene making himself available for the pass. Time and again Denilson facilitates for his colleagues by doing his job, winning the ball and recycling it economically. Sounds like Gil no? Gil's best ever performance was when he single-handedly made Riquelme look ordinary when we took on Villareal in 06. He didn't have to make many crunching tackles in that game if anyone remembers, all Gil did was to position himself nicely to block every passing channel from Riquelme and he totally nailed it. Denilson needs one match to win everyone over, one to shut everyone up. And despite many people dismissing stats and claiming Denilson "lost the ball too many times" (while at the same time hailing Song as the new god), read: QUOTE but Arshavin`s prominence did not detract from our defensive stability until Denilson was displaced by Alex Song briefly, upon Denilson`s resumption we stopped conceding again. Can't argue with that. I still think we could improve by bringing someone in alongside Fabs, so that Denilson will be able to blossom slowly without burning out (and getting unnecessary flak). But I dread seeing Nasri being stuffed in CM, as we know his best position is a free role where he can dribble, pass, and shoot Rosicky-style. |

QUOTE(ericpires @ Jun 9 2009, 04:41 PM) Pato to the AC fans is like how Walcott is to us. I dont see how it will happen. Nonetheless, there have been rumours that Milan is willing to offload him to get more established striker (our Ade?? This post has been edited by overmars: Jun 9 2009, 05:04 PM |
