Long live the King. Come back to Arsenal and we can win whatever trophy we want. He is daring to say words against his club, Barca. I wonder what will his teammate think of him now

Will We Missed Adebayor?
Yes, I will definitely miss him next season. Why? As a striker, he is responsible to score goals for his club. He done that last 2 seasons with 30 goals but not last season. We can eventually see the difference between the 08/09 squad and the 07/08 squad. What is it? A reliable DM. Arsenal performed well when they have Flamini with them. With him, he offered stability in the team. The so called 'back four' defenders can relax and concentrate more in the game plus creative midfielders like Cesc will have space to provide chances. We often compare Adebayor with Henry. Well I would not say Henry is 1 chance 1 goal type of player but maybe a 1.5/2 chances 1 goal player. While Adebayor obviously had to waste a number of chances before getting into the score sheet. Everybody had been talking about Klass Jan Huntelaar since Adebayor left. Do we need him actually? No is my answer. Klass is like Eduardo and Vela type of player where we consider them as poacher in front of the goal. Why do we need him since we got 2 players who is similar.

What Adebayor offered us during his time in AFC? He distracted defenders with his height and his pace, so that other attacking players have more space to do their job. Among the strikers, I would say Adebayor have a good finishing beside Eduardo while Vela is good but still growing. If AW going to get a striker, I would hope that he will bring a sharp shooter player or a player like Adebayor who is able to distract the defender. We are obviously lack of sharp shooter with only Cesc, Arshavin, Nasri and Robin. How good they are actually? Nasri and Cesc are good in long shooting if only if they have the chance and space to shoot. Example? Do we see the same Cesc during 07/08 season last season? Robin missed almost every chances last season while Arshavin proved to be a real bargain player with his price tag.

Let me summarize my words,
A reliable DM like Flamini.
A sharp shooter if AW is getting a striker.

Most of us are confident that with Eduardo and Rosicky are back and we can allow youngster like Nicklas, Vela and Walcott more to learn, Adebayor will not be missed but are they still as good before their injury and how long will it take for the youngster to surpass Adebayor's level? This is still a question mark.

I am not saying that 25M for Adebayor is a bad business but the team will miss him next season I am pretty sure.

yep.. that's why Vierra thinking hard before accepting any offers from Spuds. He knows he gonna get pwnd by Arsenal fans if he go to spurs. Look at Campbell, even with Portsmouth he got booed by spud fans.

disagree with you bro. Campbell came the AFC during his prime time with zero transfer fee if i am not mistaken. Veira done his job in AFC. Leaving AFC to Juventus wasn't his choice. I don't mind if he is going to Spurs. He was once the best midfielder in the world but after strings of injury. I doubt that. He wasn't that fierce on the field anymore

is that news really true? no quotes from kolo or the club. i think i will wait before i judge kolo. if its true... cry.gif

No idea man. The team cannot afford to lose anymore core player. Kolo is one the senior in the team plus he was with the Invincible team. With his age, he can offer a lot more. If this is true, Wenger made his choice clear with Gallas over Toure to partner with Vermalean. But why he keep them.

As a gunner fans, I am so disappointed to hear Kolo is leaving. Get Hangeland and keep Kolo cannot? With the 25M from the Adebayor. That is more than enough. Kolo Toure is a proven quality defender. Selling him is like Man Utd selling Rio and Chelsea selling Terry. He is the core defender in the team. He provided good cover for both Clichy and Sagna. He even can bomb free kick whenever we need. Even if the team sell him and get Hangeland. The team need time to gel up together since Adebayor and Toure left. He is the last member of Invincible. I am totally against this selling.

It seems like Arsene is reformatting his team with selling the senior players to Man City. I think he realized that the team can only reach a new height with selling off the senior players, but off all clubs, why Man City. They will definitely become the next Chelsea. So, Gunner Fans. Be prepare for another heart breaking season.
