QUOTE(rjb123 @ Jul 22 2014, 05:22 PM) Yeah totally forgot about this until I logged in yesterday ... didn't realise it was auto renewing. Well you could top up a small amount and buy a $20 1gb back, or don't top up and buy a $6 100MB + $10 300MB package http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/prepay/pri...acks/data-packsYea I checked out their website just now too. Anyways, I'll only be heading to Auckland late March next year. So if anyone else wants to use it first then let them have it. Otherwise, I don't mind getting it from you.

QUOTE(Myvicious666 @ Jul 23 2014, 01:28 PM) Hi Guys, Im planing to head to MEL from CHC, just wana check whether it is advisable to take them with few hours gap. I.E, CHC to MEL arrive at around 2200, MEL to KL depart at 0125.. What flight? Usually I would give at least 4-5 hours in case of any delays.

QUOTE(magicalass @ Aug 14 2014, 09:59 PM) Hi all, im abit confused whether i need transit visa when i transit in melbourne to auckland. i will be flying emirates and have a 6 hour stop @ melbourne. the flight number from KL > aus is diff from aus > auckland, so do i need to re-check in my luggage etc., hence require a transit visa, or i dont need to ? thanks. When you buy the ticket, did it said transit or you booked them separately? Even if transit, it is different flight numbers. If you are on transit, you don't have to check in your bags again at Melbourne. This means your luggage will be out when you are in Auckland. You also do not need a visa as you won't be getting out of the immigration in Melbourne airport.

QUOTE(angelgemini @ Aug 18 2014, 09:00 AM) I do transit, book directly. Auckland (Quantas) -> Mel (Jetstar)-> Singapore my luggage left at Mel, the people in counter just ignore me and tell me to find out at Singapore Airport when i ask them about my luggage. Really WTF..... When you checked in at Auckland, did you tell the counter girl/guy that your luggage will be send directly to Singapore? On the small piece of paper attached to your checked in luggage, it should state where your luggage will be sent to. Always check with them at the counter, confirm the transit (usually they will give you 2 boarding pass or a transit pass or something), and where your bag will go to.

QUOTE(angelgemini @ Aug 18 2014, 01:06 PM) The counter person in Auckland who told me that i need do nothing in Mel as the luggage will auto transit. But i not really trust her, so i ask at Mel airport about my luggage, than they say everything is fine and need do nothing. Than they add, for the luggage collection, check at Changi baggage collection desk. It sound weird to me but since they say i need do nothing. They do see my boarding pass from Auckland as well. Lost in transit maybe? Things like this do happen. Early this year coming back from Melbourne via Jetstar transit in Singapore. One luggage didn't come out also. Report missing luggage, one of the officers there told us it might be in Singapore. Few days later, someone called my handphone to ask did I lost a luggage. Apparently it was in KLIA all the time, and they place it at some other office in KLIA. No idea how it got there.

QUOTE(angelgemini @ Aug 18 2014, 01:20 PM) not really lost. At changi, they told me the luggage at Mel, cause the ticket say only to Mel. And they say will send the luggage back on next available flight. Than next day i call, they say unable to located my luggage yet. Day after, they call me found and on the flight to Changi and send to my home.. end up send to me 1am on the 4th day. Human error maybe?

QUOTE(yujin86 @ Aug 19 2014, 11:53 PM) hey guys pls giv me some comment regarding my travel itinerary for my nz trip, Part 1 day 1 Auckland day 2 waitomo day 3 Rotorua day 4 Tongariri Crossing at National Park day 5 Lake Taupo (Huka Falls) Wellington Day 6 Wellington Part 2 for 2 days 1 nite south island Planning from dunedin drive to Glenorchy and overnite at QT and then bac dunedin the next day. any suggestion to improve my itinerary? South island 2D1N? Are you serious? If you ask me, I would just skip south island completely to make it for my next trip. Or skip north island and just focus on south island. 6 days isn't even enough to cover south island also.

QUOTE(-Max91- @ Sep 7 2014, 01:07 AM) Hi guys, just wanna ask. What is the cheapest flight to Christchurch? Direct flight from KL to Christchurch or take budget airline[AirAsia] from KL to Melbourne [perhaps i can stay there 1 or 2 days just to see Great Ocean Road] and then take another budget airline from Melbourne to Christchurch? Thanks. Try to check Jetstar. Otherwise, AA to Aussie then either Jetstar or Air NZ or Virgin to CHC.

QUOTE(-Max91- @ Sep 9 2014, 11:38 AM) 2. Will the road in NZ be frosty or snowy during May? From what I've read, sometimes it could be frosty but not snowy, so I do no need to rent the snow chain right? Thanks ! Not really. Unless you plan to go up mountains. Best you get the campervan company contact and talk to them for their advice.

QUOTE(KTCY @ Feb 26 2015, 04:29 PM) guys, if I wanna go NZ for 1 week. No rushing just wanna relax. Maybe one day go 1 spot and spend my whole day there. Where can I go ? Auckland or Christchurch ? I'm thinking to go during Sept. is that a good time to go ? South island better. But fly all the way there just for 1 week at 1-2 places, to me it's not worth it. September should be spring time.

QUOTE(kienhuia @ Feb 27 2015, 07:09 AM) Spend the entire week in Queenstown for a relaxing trip if you can:) Fly direct to Queenstown, get windows seat to experience the close range flying through the mountain surrounding the airport .. can be boring for some but definitely difference. Look for luxury accommodation with balcony and view. Some lake view are only so so. I tried Mantra and Oaks Club Resort and the difference is worth every penny (Oaks Club Resort being way better but make sure you rent 2-3 bedroom instead of single) Gondola and the city centre itself is great for relaxation. Don't forget to try the Ferg burger and Cookies Monster while in Queenstown. Arrow town @ spring season is beautiful A day trip to Te Anu and Milford sound. Winter ---- SKI can easily spend another few days on the Peak Yup queenstown would be the first choice. Nearby can go arrowtown and further a bit to wanaka and then day trip to Milford sound as you've mentioned. Was in arrowtown for autumn, I can definitely see it being beautiful in spring too

Was at Piha beach in Auckland this morning. Did 3 hours walking trial to Whites Beach then crossover to Piha Beach and back. Was raining earlier then the clouds cleared up to make way for the sun.
