First of all, computer speed got nothing to do with internet speed.
For an example, u get 999 ping in certain server, even if you got intel i999 core, GTX9999 and 9999 ram will not solve the ping problem.

I hope that the negotiations between fragnetics and EA(or whoever it is) will be successful. Other wise, it would be pointless to get BFBC2 if there are no available dedicated server in this region.

• Not for people who like a physical copy (retail boxset)
• It's in SGD, so it's more pricey than even TSB (TSB confirmed the price already, RM129 for Limited Edition)

But then, if you can't wait for the game, wanted beta, won't bother paying slightly more (RM 9-12) and don't want to risk not getting public beta code. At least this is the first known solution for Malaysian player, right now (19 Jan 2010).

got to make sure got dedicated server in this region 1st...coz if not, like JuzJoe said, it will be pointless if there are no dedi server lol...wats so hard about setting up a dedi server in a region

my EATW ping by some miracle is back to around 100
tho the server friggin filled with hacks.

but im sure fragnetics will work something out, afterall can always partner with EATW or something.

yup, i got around 80ms+ average on EATW server. Good enuff for most of us.

I got no problem with 200 ping in BF2 so i don't think it should be a problem
But this is a whole new engine.. so i don't know how the registry works lol.

Hmm a bit worried now. No t-shirt and if no dedi server in our area how . I guess I'll order right before the deadline tsb usually puts up to see what is going to happen. Unless they're giving out the beta codes but no news also.

I m more optimistic - if there were dedicated servers in Spore for BF2 and BF2142, I dun see a reason why there will be none for BF:BC2.

The question now is to pre-order from EASG or not? SGD56.90=>>RM139.40 against Gamers.com RM129+postage, but gamers.com come with physical package.
