hei just wana know, will TM net capped the speed after we download a particular amount of data? I mean exceed the quote of usage for that month? I know P1 does this, but i think TM does as well.
I'm constanly on dowload with 1 of my 1mb account, which can peak around 200kbps download speed, and 1 day i wake up with terribly slow connection, then i check my speedtest only 750 kbps no matter wat ip range i get. and the same time i login with another 1mb account i can get up to 1700kbps. Any idea? |

Guys, TM's primary DNS is having problems again, i've done 100 pings to the DNS with 18% loss.
Please switch your DNS to OpenDNS, there is a a guide on how at a pinned thread in this forum. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1056248 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by andrew9292: Jul 12 2009, 11:48 PM |

QUOTE(mikelanding @ Jul 13 2009, 09:18 AM) I also suspect this. dear mate, sorry to say that they capped everyone's speed.. 1mbps the max u can get mostly around 700~800.. if u r lucky, thn u can get 900+- for max.. no way u can get 1mbps totally.. in the contract u have signed with tmnut, they have a "...bla bla bla, based on best efford basis" which is suck enuf.. see my siggy.. 1.5mbps max can up to 1.3mbps only.. ewwMe, my friend and cousin all got "throttled" to around 700+-kbps.
