Anyone got problem with the speed of torrent? Can't even go up beyond 30K. Use to have 50K++ and 100K on popular ones. Rapidshare speed is good tho. Can go up to 120K on free service.

VPN? Care to elaborate. It's morning and I'm still kinda stoned... biggrin.gif

EDIT: Nevermind. After rebooting, my brain finally remembered what VPN is. But then why the normal connection for torrent so slow? Has TMNet finally and actually throttle torrents? The line is good on the HTTP side because Direct downloads and Rapidshare free service can get more than 120KB/s....

Good speed but ur activity is log :-) easy to catch if u post or do something bad on internet or someone in ur network post something sensitive so they can trace ur ip back to ur streamyx id .

I have told you your internet access now logged and copied to IANA...

I don't think is good idea using this...

Imagine that!!

Ping to other international sites (USA to EUrope) varies from 600ms to 1100ms.

Alot of packet loss (request timed out) to google.com and similar sites.

No difference between, 115.132, 115.134,124.xx,60.53,118.101,118.100 range ip.

Morning guys! Today I woke up early to see the 'diff'

Any diff guys?

Yes looks big different now, my ping to Philippine and Singapore down to 80pings and most international now reach 1.28Mb/sec now. TMNet now have IANA IP Address, that would be bad news, they now link us directly to US military. TMNet DNS were even better now, I got 8pings to their DNS, this is absolute good news. I think majority of us getting same like mine. What about you and you guys...?

How come you're getting good pings?

I am getting an average of 400++ms pings to singapore and 600 to 1100 ping to the rest of the world. Tried it on all my ip ranges.

One strange thing however is, when downloading from my webui server which is in europe, despite the bad pings, i could get a steady speed of 165kb/s.

Ping to rapidshare.com is around 700ms. Download speed fluctuates between 80kB/s to 135kB/s using premium.

For me,all are the same as before.I always get 8ms-9ms to TM DNS and 250-300ms to US wetsites, but around 20%-50% packet loss.

NO IMPROVEMENTS,the links to China websites are totally bad.

That is quite good download speed actually, but the high pings will be bad for games only...

Things is very weird, have you test ping to TMNet DNS, somewhat their DNS now unstable, can pings and sometimes can't pings...

I hope you guys can read earthquake @ http://www.met.gov.my/malay/perkhidmatan/s...smic_event.html this because oversea have earthquake can cause we getting high pings to them... There's every single minutes earthquake now, this would be bad news... this one can't helped because out of our control...

I told you before, it's not infra-problems... they can control route on an user to user basis...
