Place your order, filling up infos (ie. shipping address, billing address, etc) and then make payment to the following account of Malaysia Apple Online Store (you can double check all the details below with the store website)

Beneficiary Name: Global Collect BV
Bank Name: RHB Bank Berhad, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Account Number: 21441940059378
Bank Swift Code: RHBBMYKL
Amount: RMxxx
Payment Reference Number: xxxxxxxxxxxx(12-digit)
Please ensure to quote the Payment Reference Number xxxxxxxxxxxx to your payment as failure to do so may delay the processing of your order.

Afterwards wait for the transfer to be process and apple will send you a payment confirmation email notification and just wait for the shipping.

nano=small music player.light.portable
classic=big storage.big screen for video.(i dont think this matter as touch also got,but just my opinion)
touch=all rounder.multi-purpose.wide-usage prospect(depends on the apps.with the apps, lots can be done).also multimedia like video(biggest screen in ipod line-up)and wifi(with true internet browsing-like using web browser in pc)

Guys, I am thinking of getting the Ipod touch 2G. Am I am perplexed and disgusted with type of service provided when I called the Apple Store number. The number is 1800-80-6419. I got this number from http://store.apple.com/my?afid=p202|GOSGE&...-AA0000087354-1

The person whom was answering my call was eating while talking to me. When I inquired further the person seem unable to converse with me in english so I spoke malay with him. He handed me over to someone else and then said wrong number. I told them I how I got the contact details and all the fella said was "salah number le".

This really robs any confidence I have with the apple online store. Hence I would like to know if anyone here has apple contact details so that I can raise this matter.

p/s: Does the rest of the apple shops provide the laser engraving which is available from the online apple store ? Many thanks in advance.

I never contacted any of the Apple Online Store phone number as listed in the website.
For your knowledge, the Phone Number may not necessary is located in Malaysia.... It could be directed to other countries' as if the local one is not available. I had some experiences when called up Microsoft Toll-Free Number.

Anyhow, regarding your laser engraving question, it is only available for those purchase via Apple Store, none of the shops do provide such service. Lately I just ordered an iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen via Apple Store Malaysia... so far I did not encounter any problems, and now awaiting for the product to be delivered to me (from SuZhou, China - Malaysia).
** Perhaps all Engraving is done in China hmm.gif **

dude how long was the waiting period stated from purchase to arrival ?

evilhomura89: Eerrr...will they be an Ipod Touch 3G coming out so soon?

yea... definitely it will damage a company's reputation and image indirectly, especially by those unprofessional conducts and attitudes.

I placed my ordered it on 12.05.2009 (Tuesday), and I got the latest status as I posted earlier above.
As if you carefully read on the Shipment Tracking... it did state down the Date & Time, From & To pertaining to the shipment information clearly.

The shipment's expected delivery date is by 18.05.2009 (Monday)... Hopefully will get it ASAP.
This is for the product with Laser Engraving perhaps.... if no engraving, perhaps it will be faster ? hmm.gif

Nope.... NOT all products are covered with International Warranty.
Device like iPhone and Apple TV are not International Warranty covered.
Those items' warranty only available in the country of you purchase.

This morning already received my iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen rclxm9.gif .... only took 3 days for the online order to be delivered rclxms.gif

Note :
On Apple Store Malaysia website, it states purchase over RM250 only will entitle FREE DELIVERY.

When I purchased iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen 1GB (1 unit), it is less than RM250, yet I still entitled for FREE Delivery (standard).
Perhaps Apple Store has amended their FREE Delivery T&C ? thumbup.gif

Check the SN online, btw just check everything like the 30 pin connector and others function.

But if it is new set, most probally it have clean content, which you have nothing to test on.

Why not just check the SN on Apple official warranty check page.
