one of the fellows at work today spotted a large python in the work area.
called me and say it was an emergency but didn't tell me what it was.
when i got there he said it was a large python about 3 meters in lenght.

i said to him" gila ka, u think i'm the crocodile hunter is it".

but i'm keeping on eye on the area where the snake was sighted. who knows, maybe i will post up a picture of me with the reptile in a few days. if i survive the encounter.

well i have "some" experience with wild pythons before. but it was a simple hack and slash job.

capture alive i have no idea at all.

not going alone. that will be too foolish. at least a team of 4.

don't believe la the tv. crazy job jumping on a pyton. if the head turns towards you when ur jumping on it then ur good as dead.

going to stalk it and see the behavior and then make a plan.

see what threat the python pose or maybe it is just passing through.

not that difficult to take care. just make sure you make the enclosure as close as possible to the natural habitat and it will be fine.

i started from 1 scorpion now i have 5 in 2 weeks time.

so the the learning curve for me was difficult at first then it is ok.

depends.
if the scorps are eating them faster then they could breed then temp storage. if the scorpions are not eating them then breed.

got to go. they are going to open a store that haven't been open for some time.
wan to see got what animals inside.

aros, ur using coco fiber as the substrate. i have observed that meal worms like to burrow. the shop keeper said to me i can use oats as the substrate because they will eat the substrate. and she also told me don't give to much moisture or they will die.

any tips on breeding them?

u guys sure get up and early.

woke up and check the new enclosure. sure enough, traces of substrate in the water dish..

one of my males keep sitting outside the hide. i made a really big hide for him and his mate but he isn't staying inside. i observed it for almost 12 hours already starting from 6pm to 7 am today.

when i first saw him he was munching down a super mealworm. then this morning i still see him just sitting infront of the hide. the female thou is staying inside the hide not wanting to come out.

i'm thinking of the same thing but before they were in the same hide also.

or maybe he just like the new enclosure and wants to stay out.

the hide is really big. i can fit 2 scorps more if i wanted too.
