As i realized the N82 that i bought is not installed with the latest map and some places that can be found in others phone but cant be found in N82.

Hey guys , did you all experience something weird in the message application there ?? Recently, My N82 cant send and receive sms and said that memory is full !!!! OMG!!! Ideleted every message and even did Hard reset (*#7370#) but still i cant solve the problem !!!!

Reboot will only temporary stop the problem !!! It's driving me crazy now !!!

Previously I do encounter memory full after opening several applications, or if I did not reboot (switch off/on) the phone for 2-3 weeks or more.

It seems like there is memory leak somewhere. Rebooting the phone (switch off/on) will usually solve the problem.

Also, I installed jbak taskman to monitor free memory (~80mb+)
Also C:\ memory I leave at least >30mb
Everything else, I install/copy into memory card.

The only way to jam the Messaging, is to collect 8k-10k+ sms in your Inbox, that takes me couple of months.
Sent box max 999 sms only.

I solved it already by format the phone =] I think it is a virus attack

Yes u can change the map. Go to malsingmap or malfreemap website.. Get the latest map.. Then delete the old map file into ur phone's garmin folder and insert the new map. Done.

f***k nokia. I left my phone charging by itself, then I received an sms, when i hold the phone, the battery is burning hot. Ori battery has become so fat, the cover cant be opened.

hey, my n82 is facing some weird problem...
the phone, duno why, itself keep connecting to every data connection/access points available in my phone, eg. maxis 3g mms, maxis 3g wap, digi mms, digi internet, celcom etc.... one day duno it auto connected how many times.. cuz i keep seeing my phone display there got the "E" symbol showing it trying to access to data connection.. but when i check my log, there is no data uploaded or downloaded into my phone.. the phone syok sendiri keep playing with the data acess thing...but my phone battery seem like finish more n more easily....

wat i can do to fix this problem? if i soft reset, wil eveyrthing in my phone gone? (contacts, sms, dictionary file, applications, etc)

It can be either:

(1) Recent setting/config that you change
(2) Recent application/games that you install
(3) Virus

Most of the time, will be some email or apps, that is constantly checking the internet. Beware you may have sky high bills/charges, if you are not subscribe to unlimited data-plan.

Try to identify from above list what you have done recently, and uninstall/remove the setting one by one.

Otherwise, the other option is to hard/soft-reset it. Remember to backup using Nokia PC/Ovi Suite first for all the contacts, calendar, etc.

u know what.. my lil sis n82 just broken screen and i change new one just for rm60.
part+service charge.
but the new screen is not clear as old one...

The original LCD is must have the ACX start of the serial number..confirmed bro..i change my LCD around rm130..really satisfied..the technician say 95% original..but for my opinion its the same original...

rm60 LCD the tauke of the shop tell me you must got 'kelabu' LCD wan...he recommend me 100+ coz he knows the different quality
