Ahhh, I remember now. It all fits. Exxon Mobil has a plastics facility just started up in Jurong. Big new integrated cracker and also shifting their polymers from C4 to C6. Looks like all trains should be coming to full capacity in ~6 months time, judging from the fact they are hiring now. The expats who started up the new facility must be heading home soon.

If you have petrochem, straight chem or refinery & cracker experiene, this is an opportunity.

Im in the island now, i expect this project will finish at 2010 year end or maybe start of 2011..

The eligible salary is capped at 4500. This means the maximum that you will ever pay is 900 a month (20% of 4500).
*
what do you mean? Is that u still contribute 900 if your salary more than 4500?

I'm staying with landlord also... but they are not too particular about utilities bills... they only thing they are particular is the usage of internet!! sigh~ i also dont know why since it's unlimited plan. anyway, the reason is because they keep mumbling about modem been switch on for too long, will burn easily....

I used to subscribed to Celcom and Umobile broadband, and it SUCKS especially at night... how about here? which Telco gives the best service and yet value for money?

I don't think u can get any reservoir engineering job in sg, there is no oil production and exploration in sg..
Sg oil and gas industry mostly on oil refineray plant, vendors, manufacturing etc..

I did what I can to make Malaysia better. I guess you have quite a shallow understanding the difference between blame and complaint. And the fact that you cant answer my question about what makes you proud, but skip to the so call "what can I say" shows that even yourself also don't know what is there to be proud of.
*
Apparently my question to u already answer it, i proud of myself and where i from, I proud to be Malaysian!
What did u do to make Malaysia better? May I know? Can you guide me if I have shallow understanding?

QUOTE(da3xiah @ Aug 31 2009, 11:07 AM)
so now we can't complain is it? we know very damn well that malaysia is lacking in a lot of areas and has a lot to improve. and can look to singapore as a role example. we complain because we care. if we see problems and turn a blind eye to it, we're just plain ignorant. complaining doesn't mean we love malaysia any less. i don't know why you're so oversensitive in your initial reply nor do i understand the necessity to use foul language. because when i read dveHetal3's statement, it's disappointment i sense.

don't mistake complaining and speaking out against as non-patriotism and hatred. this very thing is what the ppl in charge in malaysia is making use of. by the way, the definition of patriotism is "love of country; devotion to the welfare of one's country"... certainly not love of country's gomen and devotion to the welfare of one's country's gomen...
*
Of course u can complain if u really care..
From dveHetal3's statement, i sense that dveHetal3 was humilating Malaysia..

DveHetal3, please read the full sentence..
Malaysia losses Singapore, not because of the place, but the persons in charge & their subordinate, can;t make a proper management.
Just like my company is a good place to work, but the pay is lowest among the company coz the HR screwed up.  doh.gif
*
Do u think DveHetal3 complaint about Government or Malaysia itself? Please read the previous statement made by DveHetal3..

Celebrex wrote this before dveHetal3 reply,

Malaysia itself i think is pretty much an alright place, just that the ppl in charge is pretty screwed up...

Then dveHetal3 came out with this,

Malaysia still an alright place? U must be kidding. I feel ashamed that Malaysia losses to Singapore in everything.

Do u think dveHetal3 insult Malaysia as a place or Malaysia Government?

Firstly, I personally believe in the saying below:

"A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government." - Edward Abbey (1927-1989).
Does it mean that government not doing good thing for own country?!

It's all about the whole idea how to run the country, if not y Singapore seperated from Malaysia? I believe that is because of the leaders have different ideas and some racial issues..

sorry being a noob, the % is based on per month rite? like say salary is 3000 at 1st year, the taxable amount is 3000 x 12 x 5%? =$1800 for year one?

then if let say for one person he got offerred $5000 at year one, he will be taxed at 5% or straight to S$900 ?
I thought the signapore economy is recovering? hows it is there?
*

We do both, oil rig also considered as oil and gas, chemical plant aka shell refinery also considered OnG. Anything, even MRT structure, as long made of metal can test it, usually x-ray inspection.

I forgot which company, if i not mistaken with one of the oil and gas company since one of their plants going to be shutdown in phases.
*
I know oil rig and chemical plant considered OnG, but nothing related to marine, right?
Your company doing ship conversion? This is marine industry..
PM me your company name, can?
Im working in jurong island under chemical plant project, it's shutdown and revamp job..
