I don't wipe it that much to avoid wearing out and scratching the screen. That's actually a cause of scratching.
If I do find a need to wipe it(like after a call), I'll use a cloth. Only wipe once every 2 weeks to look for scratches, the only reason i wipe.

I didn't go for an SP as the screen looked pretty.  laugh.gif Also I thought if the screen can stand it, why spend? It was a trial for the phone. As I didn't find any scratches that were able to be seen without giving me a headache, then I decided I'll stick with no protection.

I did that to other phones as well.  laugh.gif
There's a funny story, I played around with my friend's P1i. I didn't know it was a touchscreen. But force of habit as always made me touch an icon on the home screen, and to my surprise it worked!
One time, when operating a phone with a keypad, i didn't look like a fool.  laugh.gif

Waaa, what a risky trial. Maybe you can report to us time to time how your uncovered screen doing. brows.gif

sweat.gif I plan my next phone will be touchscreen too, seems hard to revert back to the old norm.
I believe lot of tubers here also had same embarrassing moment when come to that kinda situation. laugh.gif

@knuckleballer:
Look at the size of the video. Not the file size(MB) but the frame size. If any of the axis exceeds the phone's resolution(640x360), it won't play the video, just audio.

had my eye on that, but found out that it is actually a hard cover, not soft. afraid that it might scratch the phone and accumulate dust as what the crystal casing did to my K700i before. furthermore, the bulk seemed to have some issues, the items reached the buyers in bad condition, had cracks and all. perhaps the seller would be more careful in the future but i'd rather be going for a soft cover for now smile.gif

well i'm been using oil-rubberized cover ... it's quite ok.... it's a hard cover but nice texture and nice color... and the best part is it looks GOOD on tube.

i also used Capdase Softjacket ( Silicon case ) it's much better than normal silicon case coz it has all the rite holes and it's tightly fit the tube JUST nice!!

well. actually i only use full qwerty keyboard. but i prefer if it auto switch to qwerty keyboard in potrait. like the mini qwerty but a bigger one. but to think again i prefer it stays big. tongue.gif so i senget2 the keyboard stay. but quite hard when typing 1 hand. ofcourse.

btw i dont use any protection on my phone. i like to feel the original screen. soft. infact i dont even use the cover provide. because i got a quite tight cover. it can be fix. but now i got used to it already. so i dont use anything. just bring a microfabric cloth which also buang minyak to wipe the screen.

It's been 3 moths with no SP. I can safely say, you'd need an optical zoom in your retina to see the very fine scratch mark that I have. 2 of them in fact. Not noticeable under normal use, and quite difficult to see even if you try.

Oh, when you say something about the back cover I remembered something. My friend and I was looking at the details of our two phones(his was red, mine was blue).

The back cover of his is smooth, while mine you can easily feel the lines. His set is 3 months younger than mine so wear is not an issue. He only had his for 3 weeks.

ALso his cam lens had a blue tint, while mine had a red tint. laugh.gif
