LOL, but I got him when he said that, he must be confused also with the portrait and landscape.
Alphanumeric in landscape? Eewww, that ugly. Can you imagine that? At the left side is msg preview and the right side has alphanumeric, better go with full qwerty.
Ngage? Hmmm, never own one. I have no idea bout it.  rolleyes.gif

I have a friend with an N-gage QD.
He's used to typing messages and dialing a number that way. I tried it and it was not confusing or disorienting, it's just weird and quite un-ergonomic. ALmost impossible to use with one hand.

had my eye on that, but found out that it is actually a hard cover, not soft. afraid that it might scratch the phone and accumulate dust as what the crystal casing did to my K700i before. furthermore, the bulk seemed to have some issues, the items reached the buyers in bad condition, had cracks and all. perhaps the seller would be more careful in the future but i'd rather be going for a soft cover for now smile.gif

I don't know if you consider it better but I'd go with a jacket and no SP.
Saves a bit of money, and the screen is actually quite scratch resistant.

The only special care I did with the phone is not to wipe the screen to often(and with a fine cloth), and putting it in a pocket and not letting anything else in that pocket.

may I ask why aren't you opting to use a SP? it is better to have extra protection, right? smile.gif
and why can't we wipe the screen often? I thought touch screen phones are prone to finger prints and oil stain sad.gif

i was asking for recommendations myself laugh.gif
thought of getting Zagg Invisible Shield, but it is blardy expensive and does not fully protect the phone, and don't know where to get it as well (including installation). the next alternative is to get Capdase soft jacket.

Oh yeah, I got the picture now. Maybe we have to get used to it first like keypads in this touchscreen. Yaa, with tube in landscape mode, better use the full qwerty beside the alphanumeric in landscape mode, more fast & convenient with two thumbs working. thumbup.gif

Just sharing with you, now when I'm playing with my friend's cellphone, I tend to touch the screen even that phone don't have that function. doh.gif

I don't wipe it that much to avoid wearing out and scratching the screen. That's actually a cause of scratching.
If I do find a need to wipe it(like after a call), I'll use a cloth. Only wipe once every 2 weeks to look for scratches, the only reason i wipe.

I didn't go for an SP as the screen looked pretty. laugh.gif Also I thought if the screen can stand it, why spend? It was a trial for the phone. As I didn't find any scratches that were able to be seen without giving me a headache, then I decided I'll stick with no protection.

@knuckleballer:
Look at the size of the video. Not the file size(MB) but the frame size. If any of the axis exceeds the phone's resolution(640x360), it won't play the video, just audio.

I did that to other phones as well. laugh.gif
There's a funny story, I played around with my friend's P1i. I didn't know it was a touchscreen. But force of habit as always made me touch an icon on the home screen, and to my surprise it worked!
One time, when operating a phone with a keypad, i didn't look like a fool. laugh.gif
