i think it also much depends on the photographer's photography style..there was someone complain to me that he doesnt really like his sigma30mm F1.4 on his APS-C bcoz he doesnt like to take full body portrait...its too wide for him...he would prefer something like 50mm for those 'big-head' type of portrait...

i think most of us here r using sony as our primary flash...lets wait n see wads the comments by other users here...

but from wad i think..a good flash would last u very long(don think ppl upgrade flashes regularly)..so its worth to invest a lil bit on it =D

saw this in ClubSnap..a singapore based photography forum =)

QUOTE(Ouverture)
Hi all brothers, the news we have been waiting for!!!

I just had a chat with one of the famous reputable shops and asked them when are the new A230, 330 and 380 will be in Singapore, at the same time asked them about the best price they can sell for A350 and A700 body....whether got special price or not...

You know what, they told me the distributor has informed them that A200, 300, 350 AND A700 will be discontinued by end of June!!! Yes, you didn't see wrongly and I didn't hear wrongly as I asked them many times, A700 will be discontinued as well!!!

So that means we should be expecting the announcement of A700 by next month and maybe available by July/Aug period...

Wonder any rumour news going on the web now....

guys,

if I snap a pic during a noon time, I can see the picture looks warm .. is the any way to make it looks neutral without pp? .. maybe just from camera setting .. wink.gif ..

I tried CPL but it does not go what I expected. damn it. sad.gif .
*
like wad others said..change the WB make it colder maybe??

but if u actually shoot raw..this shd b a prob right??i mean u can aways adjust to the WB/tone u like when u export them in ur pc...im not very particular about the PP part..to me..the camera does the job for u doesnt mean the job doesnt exist..

is this true A200 and other model gonna be discontinued? then those who planning to buy should not buy then?
*
if a200 fit ur expectation(functionality n price) and a230 does not...i would say grap it b4 its out of stock....

hehehe.. cute...

Achew, from your experience, is the SP90 good for portrait as well or better just keep it for macro??
*
well it can do portrait as long as u r comfortable with the range..and manual focus(if u find the auto focus too slow)

for me..i don use it for portrait that often..infact i only use it for portrait once...

but to be frank..i use all my lenses (50mm 90mm 1680) for portrait...so no particular portrait lens for me...

Thanks guys.
I do have my F58, buts just considering in case if the batts goes kaput
CZ16-80 is nice although higher F-stops, but its no where near the price range of that Tammy sweat.gif
*
but actually..1680 has aperture of 3.5~4.5...which doesnt sound so bad to me...
