re-do my saving private danbo..here's the 2nd version here's the simple setup for this shot was intended to cover up some of the LED so that the bokehs are not that crowded..and perhaps make some of them dimmer so that i could hav circles in diff sizes..but too bad my gf need my help to fix the aircon..so couldnt continue >.< c&c r welcomed =) This post has been edited by achew: Jun 3 2009, 02:42 AM

QUOTE(albnok @ Jun 3 2009, 03:32 AM) I forgot to ask if she had an older sister. perhaps u could give me her contact and i'd love to ask for u the water droplet was a killer...took me around 200shots to get it right....very hard to control the landing point as the water bottle was hand held by me...another prob is that due to the posture of danbo..there was only very slightly room for the water to land..drop slightly at the back and it'd land on the head instead...drop on the front and it wouldnt looks like splash create from the leg.. =.= the most frustrating thing was...when i got the droplet land on the correct position..my shutter just couldnt seem to press at the correct time

haha..thanks all bros for the comments/suggestions =)
actually i did tried some other combination/composition..like take the shot vertically..use mini danbo(so dat the window looks big)..shift the window to the left..i tried all....but somehow i stil prefer this one..hehe..perhaps my skil isnt good enough yet =p
there r some constrain for moving the window/danbo....
firstly..the 'window' is actually 4 squares on a small paper board..so any significant movement/angle changing..the border of the board would bcome visible in the frame and worse thing..it is not big enough to cover my whole frame anymore >.<
secondly..i had some problem with the lenses i have...90mm F2.8..yea..gives me good bokeh..but i had to stand tooooo far away to include everything..lol(my room in singapore is smaller than my toilet in malaysia)..50mm F1.4..good bokeh too..but the MFD is too much that the LED lights are not very bokeh-ed...so at the end i use cz1680..the zooming allows me to have better control to get the framing..but F4 doesnt really gives me the bokeh i wan..well..i gotta live with it..(of cos..i can always edit during my pp..hehe)

okay..took the advices from u guys..i reshoot 1 more.. orig reshoot any commentz? somehow i like the bokeh in the first one..but well..i couldnt control exactly which LED i wanted it like lit up..so its kinda random...and i was holding my F58..so sometimes when the LED lit up nicely(not too many..not too few..mixture of colors)my flash wasnt placed nicely =.= This post has been edited by achew: Jun 3 2009, 08:16 PM
