I plan to buy wii soon. however, i notice tht there are not much of interested games. most of the games are in japenes.

is is realy worth to get a wii?

The Wii to some is a great console. To others it might not be.

But if you've always been a gamer who loves different styles of gaming, then you can give the Wii a consideration. It is also good to say that the Wii compliments other consoles with what it has. You won't find the uniqueness of the Wii right now compared to an other console.

actually most of the games sold in malaysia are in US english. maybe u were looking at japanese games, which are obviously in japanese. is hard to find japanese games in malaysia.

is is realy worth to get a wii? only u can answer that actually, coz different people have different taste. but here is some points:
get a 360/ps3 if:
1. You love your traditional gamecontroller, and don't want to change the way you play games.
2. You love HD graphics.
3. You love FPS and epic games (wii can't compete with these games)
4. Your idea of playing video games is not to sweat, or to stand.

get a wii if:
1 you like the idea of motion controlled games
2.you are new in gaming (have not used or love the traditional game controller)
3. You don't mind sweating and being up on your feet while playing

Actually IMO the Wii performs well in FPS games compared to the 360/ps3,
because of the unique pointer that only the Wii has right now, it just feels better to play FPS this way.

i remember reading 360/ps3 has sold more fps games then the wii. and there are more fps titles out there for 360/ps3 then the wii. i can count how many fps for wii actually - metroid 3, cod series, moh, and conduit. 4 saje. think 360/ps has way more then that. and most 360/ps3 fps are also epic titles, unlike the wii. i love how fps works on the wii. just love it! but i also understand some gamers just love their 360/ps3 controllers so much they don't want to play fps any other way.

FPS rocks on the Wii, but it won't be fun if you play it without any crowds. That's the problem. Single player can only last so long.

i want to share the magic of the wii that u can't probably can't get in other consoles. coz i have experience this first hand. my wife never played video games; as in never, as in never in her life. When i bought the wii, she picked up the controller for the very first time and start playing wii sports with us. she loves it, and later on i bought boogie superstar, and again, she loves it!. and the best part is we can play, laugh and have real family fun. Now, think about it. This is a gamer (me) having fun with a non-gamer (my wife). This is exactly the magic of the Wii which other consoles are now trying to replicate with thier upcoming project natal and sony wand. If i bought i Ps3/360, I will just be playing alone, or with my online buddies, but never with my wife. So, that is the reason why Wii sells like crazy. coz people rather play with their love ones instead with themselves. Even a superior online feature that ps3/360 has can't beat this simple magic that wii has created.

Agree. I play mario kart with my elder sister & younger sister and we laugh like H3LL enjoying that.

And, my dad keep on saying that I would be fishing old tyres instead of Red snapper in Animal Crossing : City folks.

I doubt I will get the same entertaining (and attention) when I was playing Master Chief in Halo or SF IV in ps3.

does anybody know when is this apa nama 'wii sports reort us version' coming to town? not that i am anxiously waiting up to the point i am googling 'wii sports resort arrive in malaysia' and hoping for a hit. i ain't anxiously waiting really. but is nice to know when.

can't be last week coz launch was 26. maybe the japan and euro version. but i only interested in the us version. so us version this week aaa?

wii sports resort arrive in manila retail stores yesterday! will hop there later to get my copy. such a wonderful day today. but the price is expensive leh, about rm220. well, no choice leh.....
