QUOTE(jooku1 @ Aug 31 2009, 04:04 PM) People mod (I'm talking about soft-modding here) their Wii to extract the most of the potential of the Wii. For example by loading homebrew, it opens up a much wider array of applications and stuff u can do with the Wii. MY Wii is now my media streaming center using MPlayer CE. No need to buy a separate media player. Just plug in my external HDD into the USB slots and I'm good to go. Also it can be used to play DVDs for those who feel so inclined to (not me |

QUOTE Kyoyagami Posted Yesterday, 11:18 AM another thing, you should state what guitar you are using, and what 3rd party drumkit you are using. if there's a picture, even better. my guitar is the original activision guitar hero... QUOTE ramz Posted Yesterday, 10:19 AM is it the kit goes by the name "Crazy drums"? btw, if your wii is modded, it is also known to cause drum kit detection problems. ignore if doesn't apply to you. yup.. its dat one "crazy drum" , exactly same as picture.. im positive it is not broken bcoz when i hookep up the usb to a pc.. it detects it as a usb drum and even all the key is working as a joystick(in control panel) aaargghh is modding my wii is the cause? damn't ![]() - still dunno how to quote properly... |

QUOTE(ramz @ Nov 4 2009, 05:36 AM) that's why i advocate buying unmodded wiis. not everybody like to tinker with their wiis. When I see some computer illeterate people buy modded wii, i will always say to myself sooner or later this guy will drop a question in forums asking why this and that not working. Actually, buying moddded wiis are an exception more then a norm in 1st world countries, and even in some 3rd world countries i know. Only in Malaysia it is terbalik, coz we are still living in the ps2 era where console games should be free. yeah.. wat to do.. my priority is my pc.. still a student so cannot la maintain original all the way~ btw, google some hacking website. there is a solution for your problem. so i "configure it" and use it to play on the pc |

- off topic from current mod discussd issue -
is it possible to change the player controller (eg from player 1 to player 2, vice versa) since i always left one controller in the gh guitar (too lazy 2 take it out).. whenever i change from other game to gh has to turn off wii since cannot play solo guitar sngle player when the guitar is detctd as 2nd player... understand or not? haha |
