my phone rom version are the same with the above rom only the radio version are not the same mine -----

the radio version is for listening to radio or reception? sorry noob question
should i upgrade....

to me after upgrading the radio version, it doesn't seems to improve the reception (at least its very bad when listening from my room)...

how can we listen to radio without using stock earphone? I prefer in-ear earphone rather than the stock one.. because its painful after wearing it for sometime...

RADIO in the ROM version means the phone radio, ie. GSM, WiFi, etc. etc. not the radio radio.

From Touch Flo Home Screen
Settings Tab -> All Settings -> Personal Tab -> Phone -> Band Tab -> Select Your Network Type -> GSM

By default it'll see auto, if you want to stop your phone from dropping to GSM when 3G is weak select WCDMA, this is NOT recommended for voice calls when you're in a weak 3G area, calls just keeps dropping, cuts off, etc. etc.

im using TF3D 2 for my xperia too.. for me to turn off 3G and keep constantly in EDGE/GPRS.. i go to settings tab in TF3D, then click communication. then there is 8 options and i choose off for 3G.

in my communication manager got these:
airplane mode
phone
bluetooth
wifi
microsoft direct push
data connection
3G
internet sharing

i think it would be the same in diamond 2 too..

go to phone dialer mode (either using "pick up" phone hardware button or press "phone in TF3D home screen"
then click "menu" n "options".

really dissapointed with the battery life of this phone. it's crap. for such an expensive phone, it should be better. last nightafter my phone fully charged 11pm, i go to bed and leave it on standy, i shut off the data connection and wifi connection also.

when i woke up at 8am, my battery left only 50%, wtf! and phone usage at 2.5hr, really dont understand, in standby mode the phone auto on and do something?

can anyone shed some lights how do it fix this? much appreaciated

That is REALLY BAD! I haven't been charging my phone since yesterday 7pm and now its still full bar...

Previously i have such problem too. I found a way, just shut the phone OFF to charge it. The light will turn green when it's done. ON it back, the light will be red... let it charge for a lil while, it'll change back to green then.
The phone battery bar will show fully charged. Under information, it will also update the date on your last fully charged to the current date.

Comm Manager can be customized, the default Touch Flo does not have 3G and Internet Sharing options.

oh is it.. i tot TF3D 2 already using 8 fucntion comm manager dy.. caz default is 6 in TF3D .. i really tot TF3D 2 upgraded too...

hrmm nice tips.. hope it will work for me...will try when its time to charge my phone... so far my battery life are gud enuf for me.....

as for me i always turn OFF the data connection when im finished playing my online games...lol... just click hang up button for a while and it will go to quick list screen..... i always terminate data connection before i locked my device..... and other thing i notice is the internet icon at the below tab bar.... u can check if it auto download data is ON or not... because if u on it , the browser will automaticaaly download data for quick browsing in selected interval time, perhapd 6 hours, or others... my phone i did not auto download for quick browsing as im not into browsing so much .. just playing online games with my phone and even i dont set up my email yet for my phone...lol

IMHO, dont bother going for any new ROMS yet. Windows 6.5 is already official and is now RTM (Ready to Manufacturers) Not Radio TV Malaysia la . So give it a few weeks or a month before the official 6.5 ROM is available to us diamond 2 users. Note that the 6.5 ROM upgrade is FREE for Diamond 2 and Touch Pro 2 Owners. The others that want this ROM will have to buy it.

OR alternatively if you want to HARD SPL your device (work in progress) you can then use some fantastic cooked ROMS from XDA developers Chefs. Do note that HARD SPL will void your warranty by SIS if you send it back to them without reverting to the original SPL.

hate the signal VERY LOW

Is there anything that we can do with the low signal problem? I really like tis phone due to the GUI... but the signal prob have pull me off from it... sigh!

will install the new ROM soon and see how much it helps with the sginal problems

If you are concerned over the signal problem, then try the new ROM, from what I hear, it helps the reception. I guess i can live with my current ROM until 6.5 is released.
