Sifus here,

If not mistaken, Pos Laju did not offer importing service from countries like US and China. Am I right?

If i were to import from China, I asked DHL just now and they told me for 10kg would cost around RM450++

best service is GDEX~
the rest is mostly depend on your luck~~
do not use TNTT (Tiongnam), Skynet, Airpak~~ their management sucks, experienced few times already from KL to JB takes more than 10 days~~

if you mean courier, kangaroo, citylink price is ok but you have to open account.

if you don't care about timing, go to logistic company, like evergreen, dimarco those container truck, or those logistic company in the shop lot, they charge by carton, eg, 1 carton RM20 fr JB to KL, but logistic service not able to track at all, u really have to wait for them~~

pls take note that do not use Tiongnam logistic or TNTT, they lost my goods once, send to wrong place twice and even their management don't care when you lodge complaint~ one serious case is that send another customer stock to different customer place and they didn't know where they put, and after 2 weeks they found out and then takes another 2 weeks to take the stock from the wrong place, yet they claim why my customer received wrong item without telling them (all carton marked with label and address and it's all my routine customer and stock the same, that's why their warehouse take it)~~

and the worse thing, i open 1 facebook page for that, and Tiongnam send their lawyer to my house to threaten me~

Go any MBE outlet, City-link no need open account. And yes cheap and fast!

Thanks for the warning on our local TNTT. http://www.tnttexpress.com/

By the way, don't get confused with TNT. TNT is one of the best international courier.
I luv TNT coz can do reverse delivery. Best thing is to go through any MBE outlet in Malaysia. Cheaper rates than calling TNT pickup.
Their website is here: http://www.tnt.com . You can compare price at the website with the MBE rate. Got nice difference.

Poslaju uses EMS. I think best to checkout TNT rates at MBE outlets.

Sorry to say but I am an MBE fan. I own an online business so prefer to use a someone who I can trust everyday!

MBE as is Mailboxes Etc. available in many areas around Klang Valley.

Reasons:
1. Multiple courier companies DHL, TNT, UPS, Pos Laju and City-link
2. Ability to check and compare price on the spot!
3. Domestic Pos Laju are the same Pos Laju rates.
4. City-Link is cheaper than normal City-Link (even account holders like me) for >= 3KG. Anything below 3KG I use Pos Laju.. simple!
5. Any problems, ask MBE to follow-up for you. Leave the problems to them lar. Lazy to call the courier companies, many x courier taichi here within deparments. So leave it to MBE to kow tim everything.
6. International rates are cheaper than the normal courier pickup rate.
7. I heard some MBE outlets do pickup also, but usually I send my own. Just downstairs my office only HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH.
8. I don't trust the other couriers coz fail me a few x before. Slow pickup, delayed delivery, missing items, wrongly priced.. yes one min they tell you A price, but when the bill come ... kanasai more expensive - and they give reason their pickup guy calculate wrongly !"!??!! With MBE so far no such issue.

hmmm.. thats the MAJOR problem with online sellers. Everything want cheap, but dont care about reliability.

I personally dont trust ABX coz more expensive and slow. But as mentioned by someone of the post earlier, for those new, unknown and not famous courier depends on your luck. It could range from 50/50 to 75/25 succcess rate.

did you open an account for Gdex? for missing item u can claim full amount as u declared as all Gdex parcel is insured for account holder.

and the rest they don't have insurance service and i guess u need to complain to Gdex KL they will do sth~~

And TNTT is actually using Tiongnam centre too, so it sucks from logistic to courier~~ don't ever try~~
