Sifus here,

If not mistaken, Pos Laju did not offer importing service from countries like US and China. Am I right?

If i were to import from China, I asked DHL just now and they told me for 10kg would cost around RM450++

Anyone knows the cheapest courier service within Malaysia?
*
so far cheap n reliable is Kangaroo and poslaju, but you have to open account~
best service is GDEX~
the rest is mostly depend on your luck~~
do not use TNTT (Tiongnam), Skynet, Airpak~~ their management sucks, experienced few times already from KL to JB takes more than 10 days~~

Anyone know the cheapest courier service for bulky 40kg item? Doesn't matter if it takes 2 weeks.
*
if you mean courier, kangaroo, citylink price is ok but you have to open account.

if you don't care about timing, go to logistic company, like evergreen, dimarco those container truck, or those logistic company in the shop lot, they charge by carton, eg, 1 carton RM20 fr JB to KL, but logistic service not able to track at all, u really have to wait for them~~

pls take note that do not use Tiongnam logistic or TNTT, they lost my goods once, send to wrong place twice and even their management don't care when you lodge complaint~ one serious case is that send another customer stock to different customer place and they didn't know where they put, and after 2 weeks they found out and then takes another 2 weeks to take the stock from the wrong place, yet they claim why my customer received wrong item without telling them (all carton marked with label and address and it's all my routine customer and stock the same, that's why their warehouse take it)~~

and the worse thing, i open 1 facebook page for that, and Tiongnam send their lawyer to my house to threaten me~

GDEX sux for me. Two times never collect on time. 3 x missing item. I only use Pos Laju or City-link now.
*
did you open an account for Gdex? for missing item u can claim full amount as u declared as all Gdex parcel is insured for account holder.

and the rest they don't have insurance service and i guess u need to complain to Gdex KL they will do sth~~

And TNTT is actually using Tiongnam centre too, so it sucks from logistic to courier~~ don't ever try~~

Poslaju uses EMS. I think best to checkout TNT rates at MBE outlets.
*
TNT is sure faster than Poslaju, but when it comes to custom problem, only Poslaju(EMS) is best~~ u can get your item out very easily but if TNT, u will be tax directly~

i send a lot of International Parcel, it just my 1 cent~~

Go any MBE outlet, City-link no need open account. And yes cheap and fast!

Thanks for the warning on our local TNTT. http://www.tnttexpress.com/

By the way, don't get confused with TNT. TNT is one of the best international courier.
I luv TNT coz can do reverse delivery. Best thing is to go through any MBE outlet in Malaysia. Cheaper rates than calling TNT pickup.
Their website is here: http://www.tnt.com . You can compare price at the website with the MBE rate. Got nice difference.
*
nobody get confused as TNTT only do local courier~ and TNT is doing International courier~~

and i think many courier do reverse pickup n delivery too.... even poslaju can do.... all just need an email to their centre ya~~
