Hi all, hahaha i have such a bad experience with skynet that i have to share it.

So a package was sent to me on Sat, and today is tuesday. I thought of calling the CS to check on the delivery.

Guess what i was told? Sir, the delivery guy is not going to your area. Can you meet him at somewhere at Bandar Utama at 4pm? I was speechless and of course i said no and frustrated.

Is skynet is a courier company or a 1980s post office service or a friend that i can meet somewhere to pick up something?

I would not use Skynet personally after this. In fact i've written to the business to share my experience so that they are aware of it.

Fedex is always the best for oversea courier comparing with DHL and TNT. Affordable at timely delivery.

Pls include Right Track - best known for their local delivery.

I had used pos laju for the pass few years, but recently start to get many problems like parcel lost or the damage on parcel for glasses item. Seems like the service is downgrading especially when sending item from peninsular to sarawak.

Do anyone know any other courier service which is better in handling glass item?

fragile glass item? did u pack ur item securely enough? sometimes the responsibility is shared to the sender too.. have to take care of ur belongings.

Added on January 10, 2012, 11:53 pmbtw it seems to me for skynet issue that it is subjective to area? on my part, I use it frequently (i'm located at kampar) and so far all my deliveries have no issues, and arrive on the next-business-day. arrivals I get calls when I'm not at home. maybe it is subjective to branch I think.

if not mistaken, newer branch owners are paid salary-basis, so they don't get to earn by commission, which I guess don't give them the 'oomph' to compete well.

check out Mailboxes Etc.

www.mbe.com.my

Most of the branches are in kl/pj, but we have a range of couriers for ppl to choose from.

Example, DHL is cheap to US, but UPS is cheap to India...so you can come in and compare prices. Our courier prices are same as the retail price, theres no mark up

most MBE's will have

- UPS
- DHL
- TNT
- EMS/Poslaju
- Citylink

If you are in the following areas, u can call to check courier prices

Mailboxes Etc. - Business Services Centre
Desa ParkCity : 03- 6280 8340
Bangsar Shopping Centre : 03- 2094 0340
Bukit Tinggi : 03- 3324 6828

I have account with Skynet and encounter many problems with them since middle of 2011.

I went to their office & called their office to lodge a compliant of their service.
They never leave a slip to notify delivery was not successful and when I need the same things urgently, they ask me to collect myself.
It's 100% not my fault. Most big company never give me the tracking number.

Skynet's cooperate rate has also increased twice last year, but the service is getting bad.
I am referring to Subang branch (No HQ in PJ, it's in Subang)

Since their HQ has moved to Subang early last year, the collection guy come to collect our parcel after a few times and after a few days we called.
They also delayed our shipping.

Now switched to Poslaju. Not going back for Skynet.

from my past experience, pos laju more reliable than nation wide. 2 time have bad issue with them. specificly penang nation wide. BM branch. really suck. they cannot find my house and made late delivery.
