Nice but it's all white, after a while you will have black marks near the handle. If it was me it would have stainless steel doors, or stainless steel strips on the bottom part of the door if you're cheap. That way you don't have dirty marks on the door after a few years.

A lot of our clients have had good stuff ruined by unprofessional installers. One had his stainless steel gate installed with iron screws. The result of course, is that after a while the screws rust and stain the steel smile.gif Another had his nice carved wooden doors installed by someone with a power drill tongue.gif all that nice soft wood had hairline cracks in it after that tongue.gif

i might want to fix a kitchen cabinet; but how do i go about? do i go to those cabinet shops to look for those cabinet design that suit my kitchen and they will have contractor to fix it for me? Or, do I look for a contractor first and then he recommend the designs? which way better?

There are such things as magnetic fasteners if that's what you want, but they're not very strong.

Need some good advise here.

I ask for quotation lately which cost me RM11k (6K for wet kitchen, 5K for dry Kitchen)

My Wet and dry Kitchen is rather small. Around 1.4m x 2.4m for wet kitchen, and 2.6m x 1.5m for dry kitchen.

The package they give is as follow:

-Concrete table with L shape with 2' x 2' tiles for both kitchen installed with bottom cabinet.
-Install wall cabinet until ceiling.
-Two aluminium sliding window (wet kitchen and the one betweet dry and wet kitchen)
-plaster ceiling to cover pipe,
-Wall tiles to ceiling for wet kitchen only.
-1 Exhause fan.
-2 basin with plumbing work.
-1 unit dish rack.
-folding doors.
-3 power point.(Dry)
-2 Power point and 1 lighting point (Wet)

I'm not sure is it over priced or not. Please give some advise. Worth the price?

I intend to put glass on the wall of my kitchen instead of tiles. The 6mm thick glass is slightly tinted in green. I have a few options:

1. Use skim coat and then use weathershield paint on the wall before putting the glass panel
2. Use paint (not emulsion paint) to give it a shiny colour
3. Use sticker on the glass
4. Use tinted sticker to give it a dark colour
5. Use wallpaper behind the glass

Are there any other suggestions? Any comments on the above proposal?

As what i know, glass blacksplashes' background colour can be chosen before installing. The colour is already 'sprayed' or something on the back of the glass - not sure what their technique is called. There are a ton of colours to choose from though.

I think the brand is called Glasskote but i heard it's more expensive.

To property user, if you let me choose, i will say, none of the above option is a good ideal. what Shazzac said is the best way to do so. We called it Spray paint glass, which the similar mathod to doing 3G glass door for kitchen cabinet, which spray a colour at the back of glass, and stick the glass to the wall direct, but you cant use normal silicon to do so, because normal silicon "asid" will spoil the colour and you will see the silicon mark after you fix it. there is another type of silicon they said don have asid, that is the right 1 to do it.
