My main contractor is specialist on tiles part only but i lazy to find other contractor for plaster ceiling, wiring, plumber, painting...so i ask him to find for me...cos he in this line ..sure have chance to meet many contractor. so he help me to find....he will help me to open the door for the sub contractor..the detail will discuss between me and sub contractor only.
but all payment i pay to main contractor only.

yea, sure tiles and wiring must done. KC cabinet is last part. i did it on 14&15 Feb and move in 18Feb.....
I already have the 3D design from Unity Kitchen on October 2010 when i pay the deposit, and collect my house key on June 2011...so i have done a lot planing on kitchen cabinet....

erm...if we decide to put granite on top ....does we need to lay out a concrete 1st (mean do a lay out and later put on granite)...?
as i understand granite is more expensive then others, but if we compare to titles....which one would be more economic by considering the long-term ???

not necessary to put concrete for granite. but if you really use the kitchen, unlike most of the photos posted on this topic (decor and show off only whistling.gif ), its better to put concrete for chopping meat.

long term and economic is definitely concrete with tiles. go to any tile shops and ask for the kitchen countertop tiles. they come in 2x2 ft. comparing kitchen tiles with granite, they're almost the same in terms of quality, but granite is better by a small margin. imo, its better to put granite since it adds value to the house.

Hi adele,

4G door is our new product, if 3G glass door u will see aluminium at the edge, but 4G glass door there is no aluminium edge at all. Material behind the door is using aluminium and glass not wood. Have new color to choose, If u want to know more, can come to our factory showroom at Bandar Teknologi Kajang. Our friendly salesman can explain to u. thumbup.gif

Added on February 28, 2012, 7:31 pmbesides, i went to UK the other day and got to see the 3G and 4G. i prefer 4G then as there's no price difference. after getting our 3D design from UK. we really decide that we'll have the whole kitchen cabinet & top be done in Black as white top is hard to maintain (solid surface) and granite, it's EXPENSIVE!....

we are waiting for our contractor's quotation for other parts of the hse before we could confirm if we'll use UK. i basically love UK's design and also after seeing so much good recommendation from here... i m more confident with them too...

been to CLS, CK, Kubiq before but the best service is still UK... wink.gif good job UK...
