Added on December 13, 2008, 10:13 ammasa zaman rajin tahap gaban dlu aku pakai hampagas dkt opis jer sedut habuk...kasik taruk dkt dpn slot BDisc tu kasik full trottle huhuhu...cuma bahagian yg agak susah dkt lobang2 jaring mash tu jer, biaser pak nyet pakai berus halus yg keras then kasik tenyeh2 kat celah lobang tu sambil sedut pakai hampehgas...

satu tips, klu ko taruk PS3 vertical pos, check lobang hanging yg dkt HDD tu, situ byk habuk & satu lg kasik bukak penutup HDD tu dlm casing tu mmg berhabuk...

p/s: masa aku bedah PS3 aku tempoh hari habuk byk lekat dkt drive BDrive (casing dia)...klu nk di ikutkn pakai hampagas mmg xberkesan slagi xbukak totally...FYI umah aku umah kayu so basically purata udara 30% oksigen 70% habuk

hmm rasa2 ok kot kalo sedut habut dari luar tu
bagi owner 40gb leh try maintenance mode kasi kipas running tahap gaban pehtu baru sedut ngan vacuum

xder masalah cuma xbrape berkesan, atleast xtotally dusted & dia nyer sisip angin & lobang yg sewaktu dgn nyer xder tersumbat terutama di bahagian depan...yg dkt bahagian atas tu funtion dia ntuk ventalize kira cam nak bg haba meruap kluar, tp yg dkt bahagian depan tu yg paling pentingsbb main fan dia sedut udara dari port tuh, cam aku kat umah sblom nie pakai external fan model nie...rase dah outdated tp masih berfungsi ngan ensem nyer



pros:
plug n play
got on off switch
compact
4 mini silenced fans
suitable for non ventilated room or house like mine...sigh

cons:
price bought previously at RM70 bucks jeez the item was not worth the pricing.
if not properly cleanup screeching & buzzing sound due to the dust stuck onto the fans shaft part although it was really silence at first use.
the fan USB port need to be carefully handle, you don't want to break the PS3 built in port do you.
some PS3 unit like 20G console will lack of USB slots since the fan use one of the USB port as mandatory power supply.

PS3 air ventilation is quite good rite? do we really need fan cooling device?

ps3 default ventilation is good enough as long as u put it in proper location. extra fan is a luxury, knocked urself out

i believe YES they were, the only reason I'm getting the external fan due to my house condition...even thou i'm playing even in extreme hot condition the unit still hold up since day 1 & up till 2 years later, what i can say up to this moment even my unit was fall to the YLoD I'm truly satisfied.

bro aji's, if yaa house or your room were having or not having an airconds the fan doesn't make any differences.

just have a good time with the console, you'll be pretty fine...

seems that ppl with ylod fever sent their unit back to sony center with $150 mark on their back.
is it worth the money? $150 to repair or just add abit more n get a new unit instead

that right, $150 for the repair was what i read in some forum hyper linked by LYNer forumers, hope it was true that changing the PSU fix the YLoD, most of the peeps been hit by the YLoD seem like to be on the old machine dated a year above...correct me if yaa got some earlybird YLoD...

just for some forumer info, i'm using a step down transformer since the first day i hit the on switch...hopefully it can help or noted in the YLoD static...

my ps3 cannot shutdown by holding the power button.have to hold ps button on controller and select shutdown console to turn off my ps3.why?

touch button got problem?..I don't it's the lens though

ermm mine havin this kinnda problem quite sumtimes...da on off does not responding even for the force shutdown (hold for about more than 3 minutes)...
couldn't remember what am i during that particular time...i guess it was surfing

try asking someone else to touch it, maybe your hand is not that touchy enough.
