this is indeed a frustrating news
the list of ylod'ers are growing rapidly
around 160+ ppl were in the ylod list in playstation forum
most affected console is the 20,60 n 80gb

they even created this siggy, use at ur own risk

hmm rasa2 ok kot kalo sedut habut dari luar tu
bagi owner 40gb leh try maintenance mode kasi kipas running tahap gaban pehtu baru sedut ngan vacuum

ps3 default ventilation is good enough as long as u put it in proper location. extra fan is a luxury, knocked urself out

seems that ppl with ylod fever sent their unit back to sony center with $150 mark on their back.
is it worth the money? $150 to repair or just add abit more n get a new unit instead

i'll wait for that day indefinitely Captain Nyet

lense problem usually caused by excessive use, wear n tear
sometimes luck also play their role

problem is, not all games available as DLC
if i'm not mistaken lense cost around 250-300 rite

mystery indeed, it strike without warning
i believe nyet's unit is the 60gb
so far the most unit infected with ylod's fever is the 20,60 n 80
hopefully the rest have strong resistance to repel this epidemic

the problem remains unknown
general answer points to hardware problem
some says power failure, some pointing to hdd fault
some even gets it during mgs4 installation
sony needs to clarify on this

perhaps when the warranty bite the dust sis bro vorchiel
