u can reroute the cable away from fender since it is FOC...

otherwise install a switch on ur front bonnet which connected to door's switch...
it can be DIY also but more jobs required to be done... as remember there have the thread at myvi forum about the installation...

I have anti theft system installed. It comes free when I purchased the car. My agent said that the system is to prevent somebody to unlock the cars manually.

Yeah...normal case...cuts off frequently if u set the temp higher. A bit annoying though...so much so I got too annoyed with my 2007 myvi's prob with driver power window vibration when winding up, steering vibration, rear boot hydraulic spring prob, power window master switch prob...then I've finally decided to sell it off n get the new honda city.

Really sad to c it go though...just that the QC/QA for Perodua sucks...been asking them ever since day 1 to fix this n that but the prob keeps coming up. U all should see my warranty book...filled with warranty stamps...as if I changing the whole car. I even had my front brakes warrantied...brand new disc brakes n pads.

hey anybody myvi steering got some small sound or totally silent? mine used to have loud scratchy sound...just came doin...they put grease but the mechanic say soft scratchy sound memang got wan....really like tht? else i will ask them check again durin my next service...

That's malaysia boleh....we are really behind..

If like that ah, ask him to write in the receipt and stated that the sound is normal...

i think ur car is under 3yr as 1 of my customer's car tat day i saw was 3yrs while claiming her headlamp~

from my previous survey, puchong SC got lousy service.. some forumers complaining bout them.. not sure la realy true or not..

but if u r willing to travel, then maybe u can try Suasa Suria Auto at Perindustrian Seri Kembangan.. i went to the workshop yesterday and the service quite good. Solve my belting problem which is according to PJ SC need to change gasket for RM100+...

also u can be with ur car while he is being operated if u concern and want to ensure they do the job correctly. saw one guy also yesterday maybe he is also having 1k service based on his car condition n tyre thread.. went together under his myvi with foremen..

but the receptionist is quite blur and like know nothing.. better u talk back to the respective foreman to explain the problem (if any)...

Added on September 6, 2009, 11:58 ambut my v still got problem though.. got clanking sound from exhaust area when on uneven road.. like u shake an empty can with screw inside.. whats the prob ah? cant detect any loose part...
