QUOTE(gkl83 @ Jun 30 2009, 09:19 PM) maybe try to do the alignment 1st... and pump more air into tires to reduce friction... but if u drive auto definitely will lost more power in between... anyway, i driving SXI, my myvi can serve me 550km per fuel tank or 17km/L with stock condition... I'm also driving SXI and for city driving (stop and go due to many traffic lights) I get an average of 380km on my fuel tank...using 195/55 15" wheels...while on highways...I can get 500km and above on a single fuel tank. Mind u during city driving I am sometimes a heavy footer so it can go above 400km on a single fuel tank if I try to save fuel. Anyhow its like what gkl83 said...yr wheels must be aligned and must always check tyre pressure to make sure u dun burn more fuel than u already have haha.

QUOTE(jasondotcom @ Jul 1 2009, 08:46 AM) how many of u here replace ur engine oil at 10k? I replace my engine oil before it even hits 5k most of the time. What I get in return is the comments of the P2 SC technicians telling me how surprised they are about the amount of acceleration my car has compared to the other myvis they tested when I sent my car in for tests & service

QUOTE(leanman @ Sep 3 2009, 04:44 PM) just got my new Myvi last week. sorry i found it too long to refer back. got a question regarding the air cond. realised that the a/c cuts off regularly(compressor stops) depending where you set the temperature dial and come back on again after about 5-6 seconds. Checked with 2 authorised Denso service center and they said its normal for the new Myvi now. Is that the case? Yeah...normal case...cuts off frequently if u set the temp higher. A bit annoying though...so much so I got too annoyed with my 2007 myvi's prob with driver power window vibration when winding up, steering vibration, rear boot hydraulic spring prob, power window master switch prob...then I've finally decided to sell it off n get the new honda city. Really sad to c it go though...just that the QC/QA for Perodua sucks...been asking them ever since day 1 to fix this n that but the prob keeps coming up. U all should see my warranty book...filled with warranty stamps...as if I changing the whole car. I even had my front brakes warrantied...brand new disc brakes n pads.

QUOTE(ableze_joepardy @ Sep 6 2009, 11:25 AM) from my previous survey, puchong SC got lousy service.. some forumers complaining bout them.. not sure la realy true or not.. but if u r willing to travel, then maybe u can try Suasa Suria Auto at Perindustrian Seri Kembangan.. i went to the workshop yesterday and the service quite good. Solve my belting problem which is according to PJ SC need to change gasket for RM100+... also u can be with ur car while he is being operated if u concern and want to ensure they do the job correctly. saw one guy also yesterday maybe he is also having 1k service based on his car condition n tyre thread.. went together under his myvi with foremen.. but the receptionist is quite blur and like know nothing.. better u talk back to the respective foreman to explain the problem (if any)... Added on September 6, 2009, 11:58 ambut my v still got problem though.. got clanking sound from exhaust area when on uneven road.. like u shake an empty can with screw inside.. whats the prob ah? cant detect any loose part... Yes the Puchong SC is full of bullshit. Never go there again. I went through hell trying to claim warranty there and never got it. I'm so over with Perodua now
