Greeting all proud myvi'ers...  biggrin.gif

I will be getting my new car in about 1 week if everything goes well. Its a tangerine orange myvi SE 1.3 ZHS.  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

My SA doesn't give me much such as discount as there is none he said for the myvi models for 2 years already. He said he can give me a tint voucher and a steering lock. The commission he get is around RM500 and he said it is not much.  cry.gif

I said that I want better deal and the steering lock is not that important so I asked him not to give me that but other stuff.  whistling.gif

In the end I asked him to give me the accoustic bonnet foam, the rear shade and the metal pedal. For tinting I am going for the Armor Security tint from the tint company attached to P2. They send all the perodua cars to the company nowadays.  hmm.gif

To make it short, I asked for these stuff:-  thumbup.gif

1. Rear shades (Free)
2. Sport metal pedals (Free)
3. Accoustic bonnet foam (Free)
4. Anti theft plates (A bit expensive... can't be free)
5. Side door protector stripes (Also might be expensive)
6. Aircon filter (cheap... maybe can be free)
7. Security tint Armor (definitely not cheap... warghh!)

I plan on putting on some stickers / airbrush art (not too much, just a bit) and then go for Paint Protection System (PPS) by Raymond for the final finishing touch.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh yes, I am thinking of getting the front and rear anti roll bar from UltraRacing to enhance the cornering.

Since it is new I don't want to void the warranty. However I wish I can install more speakers and a subwoofer a.k.a. install a better sound system without void the warranty if can.

if anybody feels that I left anything that should have been installed before I get the car and start using it, it would be great if you guys/gals can tell me like to improve performance or stability. I don't wanna have to add in the later stages.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Beware, AFAIK, all these 'tint vouchers' are marketing to plan to get you to a certain company to the tinting. (Your SA sure got commission). You think you are getting 'discount', but actually you're not. Sure kena rip off one. My advise, if you want to do tinting, don't be stingy, spend on a good branded tint (maybe need 1k or more). Otherwise, might as well don't tint until you can find the budget.

I think its the same company that P2 send all their customers to tint to. Realtint or something i don't remember. But yes... i know that the voucher is like a lure just to get the customer to tint more better tint with more expensive price. Thanks for the tip off! rclxms.gif

I actually came to realize after talking to some real tinting shops, not those provide tinting installation.

They told me some real truth that I also heartache.

But that was after I spend RM500 on my tinting.

hmmm....based on experienced...after service for the third times...my mileage is only around 500KM +-, i always pumped in RM50-RM60 of petrol...
if u already serviced for the third times...and still got bad FC, then u should return to SC...and complaints..
*
no use.. trust me..
sc will ask u to drive 90km/h @ constant speed at highway..
full tank until empty, record it...

i complain few time also same answer..
until i i give them my record.. 3 a4 paper with p2 mechanic inside my car..
only they adjust for me.. rclxub.gif

but then after adjust does see improvement but after awhile..
back to normal.. rolleyes.gif

just make sure you have good leg to control the accelerator and less braking.. laugh.gif
dun make sudden pickup.. brows.gif
clean air filter(engine bay), regular service will do the trick.. nod.gif

If you really want to preserve the color I suggest try using the PPS (Paint Protection System). It protects your car paint at least 3 years. Thats what I read anyway. Do search more info on that.

I don't like white MyVis. They look like they weren't painted. I like Medallion Grey, Silver and Olve Green.

Should be ok.

Spring you can try APM or GAB...

Then rims will have to take local one or Taiwan made, but can only get 15".
