yup.. as u'd know the myvi isnt my 1st choice, its not even in my top 5.. but i got a job sumwhere far away from home n decided not 2 take my family's aveo n get my own ride which i can buy wit my own hard earned cash.. after much consideration i opt for a myvi instead of my top 2 choices which is persona n waja cps.. have 2 be more sensible in these hard times n put on the thinking cap..

MyVi was my 3rd choice. Vios was my 2nd choice and Swift was my 1st choice. But like CooShyRee I decided to buy a MyVi because it was much cheaper. I'm a low mileage driver anyway, just need the car to go to work and buy stuff. I've owned the car for almost a month and only hit 230km.

a month n juz 230km????? wow, thats really low ive got my car 4 less than a week n already its clocked 200++km..

when i was considering which car 2 buy, i decided that i want a car that has abs n airbags.. persona has those too, but 2 get it in that spec i'd have 2 get the hline which costs nearly 60k.. waja cps also has those, but that would cost more than 60k!! wit my current pay, i could afford it, but i juz dont think i wanna spend that much of my monthly salary portion on the car alone.. so the cheapest n most reasonable option would be the myvi then.. besides, waja n persona would cost me more on fuel too.. although the distance between my house n workplace isnt far at all, but still want sumthin economical 4 the weekend outings

I one day average 100km.. now 6 weeks old myvi already 4300 km.. prepare for second service lol...

Myvi also is my 398th choice..

1. Bugatti Veyron
2. Lambo gallardo
3. Bentley
4. GTR
5. etc etc ........

I think all of us also put national car at last choice. MyVi actually out of my choice list.

1) City 2009
2) Vios
3) etc

but after calculating the loan, insurance, service, spare parts etc... i finally go for MyVi because it is the only i can affort with Rm2.8k per month. The rest of hard earning I keep for wife and emergency fund.

Haha... u guys think until so far...

i wanted to buy Persona SE or Satria Neo CPS... but im still a student... cant really afford the loan 1st... i never considered Gen2 and Waja before cuz i dun like the design...

of coz i wish i had more money... to get a better car...

now i'm paying part of the loan actually... my dad agrees to pay half for me for 1 year before i finish studying... then i have to pay myself...
So, Myvi is the maximum i can get edi... hahaha...

btw, after 1st day, my mileage is around 100km... u know la... 1st day cuz drive here and there, fetch family n gf go out...

i dun drive that much... consider as low mileage drive too, but not as low as Andrew... damn.. 6 weeks only 230km! haha...

for me normally 1 week hit 200km... normally la... haha...

I've driven only 3+ weeks actually, not 6 weeks. But yeah I don't drive much. I'm lucky my office in Mid Valley, and I stay in Bangsar. So only about 3, 4km.
What's more, sometimes I prefer to take shuttle bus because it's free.

how to open and check it?? haha..

now that is smart! free and got aircon some more! then you can really enjoy your car coz when you need it usually you will not be stuck in jam!

waaahhhh.. i didnt expect that so many of u guys r like me, wanted sumthin else, but ended up wit myvi coz being more sensible.. i guess myvi is kinda like the thinkin man's choice.. its not sumthin u buy wit ur heart, its sumthin u buy wit ur head

get the car last Friday, so far so good..

only been to d 1st 2...1st choice i dislike, all play by d book...workmanship last time is so so only i think....

frequent the 2nd SC asjati..very good chinese owner & its a authorized P2 workshop so more cincai, i.e. my defective but expired (warranty) part they also change 4 me last time since i'm a regular customer...so good!

Added on December 1, 2009, 9:40 pmbro kokifung, u just take out d glove compartment, quite easy cuz only two "hinges" at d sides... press it it'll come off...then the aircond filter is supposed to slide in a slot somewhere in it...dunno how to explain...u go search 1st la

haha..yalo...really was outstation...after that no more TT

BTW, got my Myvi SE blackie back today!!! nicely done! good as new front end! new paintjob so ZERO stone-chipping/scratches..for now
