hello all sifus, i am going to get a myvi the new year. what colour did you get since all the colour choices are not great and even worse they discon carib blue! my bro and sis in law also got myvi and both are grey! so yucks la if i get the same colour! if i did, i definitely will put some vinyl "lagi laju stripes" my wife says get the solid red but i worry the red will fade without covered parking.
appreciate your 2 sen on the colour. please give generously! |

just wishing you all be more careful only. these are rainy days and the roads are bad and slippy. myvi no have VSA and traction control so have to be more careful. i see some here, very interested in pick up and top speeding the myvi. seriously it was not designed for that.
as for crashing and burning r35s, if you or father got money nvm la. dont die ok la, can buy again and this time get an advanced drivers course too. |

QUOTE(Andrew Lim @ Nov 18 2009, 10:46 AM) Yes, my first car. Although hurts, I don't really regret, because I originally intended to buy a Suzuki Swift. in driving school, they never teach you to park properly ke? From now on, I'll just park normally... |

QUOTE(kokifung @ Nov 22 2009, 08:49 PM) Hello.. please use proper English is Myvi.. what maiwi although other people would understand... what is your problem?! accidents happen true but when a myvi can hit another stationary car in front of it while parking, that is not an accident, that is sheer blindness! the parking question is a valid one as it may affect you someday when someone crashes into your car coz they only learned to pass the driving exam not how to drive safely and park perfectly.would be better book early to get ur car faster.. what is yr problem?? accident does happen ok ! |

QUOTE(cheeann @ Nov 29 2009, 11:38 AM) his prob wit u is becaz of ur prob calling proper myvi becoming a maiwi~ hah! me not the one who spelled maiwi, just the guy who asked the question about the driving school that andrew lim went to and whether they got teach him parking or not. if that guy (not andrew) wants to get flamed, go somewhere else la. since u're in myvi thread so it's better for u to speak proper english to call names even thou it's true many myvi involve in accident nowadays~ btw u should read 1 of d rules n regulation here from pinned topic if u do not wan to b reported by thread members[i'm not 1 of them http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/221744 if everyone followed the rules on the page you linked then most of the people here would get reported since they want to talk about mods and going faster than the speed limit, disc brake conversion which likely voids their warranty and exhaust mods that take out the catalytic converter and is BAD for air quality. a name is just a name, why so sensitive? not like maiwi fella called your gf something other than "lenglui"? jeremy clarkson called it a Meevi (phonetically) is he going to scold HIM? hahaha. so be cool. i am waiting for my Myvi too, its pearl white with red and black vinyl stripes and i am gonna take my son to kindergarden with it and hang my bike off the back when i go to bukit kiara DH. it is just that, a small family car, dress it up however you like but you will never make it corner or change direction as quickly as a GT-R. Peace and safe driving. Added on November 29, 2009, 12:16 pm QUOTE(cheeann @ Nov 29 2009, 12:07 PM) if u wanna feel welcome here then at least show ur prove of getting a P2 car but as too bacd it's proven tat u're getting Rush so no point for u to stay here b4 any1 here nuke u or report u for spamming~ eh, why so like that? you know him ah? or he didnt buy car from you ah? kekekejus my 3cents~ This post has been edited by dickybird: Nov 29 2009, 12:16 PM |

chee ann: no probs, i mean no disrespect to anyone but it seems some people here are not necessarily that welcoming to differing opinions so they need to show some respect as well.
well as for our local cars, we ALL know we are paying thru the nose for cars that ppl overseas would not want even if they were given free. what is more, the car in places like UK will be cheaper and have better spec ler. but hey, what to do we are not rich BN cronies just ordinary working ppl so we get screwed lo. |

QUOTE(Andrew Lim @ Dec 1 2009, 12:58 PM) I've driven only 3+ weeks actually, not 6 weeks. But yeah I don't drive much. I'm lucky my office in Mid Valley, and I stay in Bangsar. So only about 3, 4km. now that is smart! free and got aircon some more! then you can really enjoy your car coz when you need it usually you will not be stuck in jam! What's more, sometimes I prefer to take shuttle bus because it's free. |
