No, even the asus rampage 2 extreme (e-atx mobo) can fit in to cm690...
*
Mid-tower casing such CM690 can only fit ATX and M-ATX motherboard.

For E-ATX motherboard, usually is server motherboard, can only fit into a full-tower casing such as HAF 932

user posted image

The blue colour screw hole is standard ATX motherboard hole, where else red colour screw hole is E-ATX motherboard hole.
In another word, E-ATX motherboard tend to be "wider"

how come u guys arent talking about the new CM Gladiator 600?

Its a replacement for the Centurion5, cheaper than 690, and have features like bottom PSU, side HDD bay, and top exhaust

Would this be a good buy?

for me it's quite a good buy, considering the interior is similar to cm690, but too bad got no transparent side panel.

actually i did use the gladiator b4 for 1 or 2 weeks time den i changed to haf 932 den after 1 day i changed to storm scout. the gladiator 600 is really a good buy. it's in the middle between 590 and 690. like wat dlwl said, the things tat it's not good enuf is it doesn't hv transparent side panel but the good part is the side panel can support 2 x 14cm fans

its a worth buying stuff, liked the big cable management hole at bottom of the mobo tray which larger than CM690 only that. other than that interior space seem limited
