For fans, I suggest remove the back sticker, then pull out the pin..Then can separate the impeller from the frame. Then use wet cloth to wipe off the dust and whatnot..
BTW, my name is not in the CM690 list..♥♥♥

Koki's HAF also doubles as an insect killer trap (the blue zapping insect light)!! I think ill stick with 690 for the time being as i kinda dislike the extension slots on the 922 and the lack of fans in Scout (although the luv handles are hard to resist!!) and keep on waiting for the ultimate 690 replacement. i am very sure more are coming from our beloved CM!!

The blades desogn of the 90CFm is the same as those on a turbo prop engine..I personally call them turbin blades, so if CM claims it is 90 cfm, then it is. We ought to believe CM as this is a Cm thread afterall.
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Mine, no air cond room, e8500 OC to 4.0 GHz temperature max load only 46-48 both cores. Idling at 32-35. I tried to mount side to side but the clip hit my NB heatsink. Also my temps are lower compared to side mount. use the hot air travels upwards. pls also note that im not suing the provided fan, only using the normal CM 12cm blue LEd (not the 90cfm). imagine what would happen ifI were to use a 90 or any high CFM fan?!
Just my 88 cents..MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So far, CM excels only in casing making..So Koki dun worry, ill bet that hyper 212+ cant beat CCF..If it does beat CCF, then ill cry too
So our best bet is to wait for frosty tech to review this baby!!

best solution for cooling will always be liquid cooling but they are tedious and expensive to set up..
IMO, the best way to aircool is to have very good airflow in ur casing and have fans blowing at ur hardwares (NB fan, RAM fans, etc) and CM690 does this with flying colours. please also remember that aircooling depends very much on your room/ambient temp.
I myself have come to a conclusion that CM690 pretty much fits my needs for my rig. Im not a hardcore OC and very hardcore budget gamer. y go for a full tower if your hardwares inside are not going to use that much of a space.
So I believe that CM690 will still stay with us for the next 3-4 years. ♥♥♥
