coz my workstation here is at a corner
idle at 45ºC actually, running at full speed

something weird about temp la >.> idle sure get 3x

yes wierd, mine non air-cond.. cpu at corner of the room as well, fan on medium speed > 33ºC. side panel closed

maybe is really AMD?
USUALLY, not all la, AMD is hotter then Intel cpu

@off topic, the AMD hot issues was wayyy back years of it. since Athlon ages started, AMD has solved the problem regarding hot cpu's.

p/s i'd overclock btw check my siggy, i get around 50plus when at full load, idle would be below 40

wat TIM u use or did u mount the hsf properly?bcoz 45c at idle is rly hot no matter its at corner or ur area is hot,it shouldn't be tht high.even my oc'ed 4.1ghz e8400 also idle @ 40c oni wont get beyond 43c

my i7 44-48c idle depends on ambient idle @ 3.4 ghz HT on on water cooling also...

i think sometimes really depends on ambient... my room also hot... last floor, hotter at noon thn ground floor

and also do mind that the proc also got diff depends on batch, even same model and family can get differremt temperatures.

maybe depends on wafer gua... not sure also

TX3, i dont like.. small fan, push pin, only 3heat pipe.
